First off, any devices that don't have a built-in USB-A connector can easily have their cables changed to USB-C to USB-A (well, USB-B, right?) cables. So there go those adapters. And USB-C to USB-A adapters are like $2 on Amazon, and are small enough to be swallowed without incident.now I also need to carry a USB-C to USB adaptor as ALL of the hard drives and sticks are common USB.
As for USB memory-sticks, there are many now with USB-A on one end and USB-C on the other; so there goes your last fake annoyance.
And as you pointed out yourself, anyone who has used a Mac Laptop for like, EVER, with an external display, has had to use one or another Display Adapter. So, meh.
