There are also updates for Beats Solo Pro, Powerbeats, and Powerbeats Pro, firmware build 4A394.

Edit: removed hardware model numbers to reduce confusion 😅
can confirm my Powerbeats just updated.

it appears even easier to update beats headphones just powered them on for a couple minutes then powered off which I noticed they even tho they appeared to be powered off (white led goes off) they remained connected to my iPad (device I last used them with) then finally after a few minutes they disconnected.

FWIW, I had this issue a TON and I attributed it to being on so many different betas at different times. So once all the "official versions" came out, I removed all of them from all of my devices and restarted all of them before adding anything back. Haven't had an issue yet, which is good, because my next step was sacrificing a goat.
I think that is the downside of being on betas

And as always, it infuriates me that Apple makes a line of products that have no direct way to upgrade their software.
I wouldn’t care as much, if they simply let me know an update was happening, or was going to happen. Instead, those of us who can’t help ourselves have to try to get them to update when we want, which kind of feels like throwing chicken bones, whether you can get it to work or not.

For me the Find My works for the Airpods Pro. Do that know about the Airpods Max yet cos they haven't updated yet.. Can't activate the notifications if I leave them behind though. But perhaps that's just a bug. I'm on the iOS beta.

Edit: The notifications do work. It's just the option to notify me when they are found that's greyed out when they are not missing.

Can't find AirPods firmware version through IOS Settings App - General, as article outlines, but can through Bluetooth AirPods info.
Never mind. Found it.

(Not so) patiently waiting for the firmware to update... Really like spatial audio, but I haven't gotten over the sorry fact I have $250 headphones that I can't use to make a phone call from a city street because the party on the other end of the call can't hear anything but ambient noises when I'm talking.

It’s the same with the AirPods Max which are even more expensive. Never managed to have a phone call with them. Dunno how is this possible…

Where do you view this info?
In the AirPods info tab, tap Version and it will cycle to case version number. Can confirm, Find My integration working (with iOS 15.1 beta 2 at least).
