How do you turn on conversation boost?
I'm trying to remember. I had it running for a while when I had my iPhone 12 mini running beta IOS 15 and the beta firmware on my APP. I think it was something where I went into the Control Center, press on the Airpods volume slider, and the option was there. I don't recall it being in Accessibility settings. I now have an iPhone 13 mini and I no longer see the option. How do you turn on conversation boost?
It's in accessibility setting. You can get it into Control Center but it's under the Ear (Hearing). You then long press the ear to get all the options.I'm trying to remember. It does 👍🏻Curious to know if this enables the AirTag like features and FindMy features on the AirPods Pro..?
Weird... I tried that and I only see settings for live listen and background sounds. Maybe we have to wait for an iOS update? It's in accessibility setting. You can get it into Control Center but it's under the Ear (Hearing). You then long press the ear to get all the options.
Just AirPods Pro and AirPods Max unfortunately. Is the AirTag style find my functionality supported for 2nd gen AirPods as well? Or is it only limited to pros.
Yep, this is way. That and manually connect to AirPods in BT, updated in a minute.
Same, what a bummer. No eavesdropping for anyone 🤫.Updated my Pros, can't see the option for Conversation Boost anywhere.
Huh. Mine definitely doesn’t.In the AirPods info tab, tap Version and it will cycle to case version number. Can confirm, Find My integration working (with iOS 15.1 beta 2 at least).
Find it under Settings: BluetoothWeird how my air pods gen 2 doesn’t show in the about window yet I’m listening now.![]()

I think the OP was referring to the AirPods Pro beta, which many of us installed from our developer account download page. It’s unclear whether the AirPods Pro with installed beta profiles will receive the OTA update to this latest version. I’m waiting to find out with mine…I’m on iOS beta and my airpod pros just updated.
Conversation boost is accessible from hard pressing the volume slider in the control center when the AirPods are connected to the device. The feature was first made available with the AirPods Pro beta firmware; it’s not yet clear whether this new stable release has the feature.Updated my Pros, can't see the option for Conversation Boost anywhere.
