Conversation boost is accessible from hard pressing the volume slider in the control center when the AirPods are connected to the device. The feature was first made available with the AirPods Pro beta firmware; it’s not yet clear whether this new stable release has the feature.
As I have posted, this doesn’t bring it. I am running 15.0.1 and have the firmware update. It’s not there.

Hopefully it transitions better between devices. Tired of putting my buds in when my phone rings and none of my devices getting the hint

Agreed. It seems random if, when sitting at my iMac, they pair to it or my iPhone when I put a pod in to answer a call on the phone.

Should the case be open or closed
1. plug the case in the charger (wait till it’s >50%, probably), 2. leave the case opened, 3. go to BT settings, make sure AirPods are connected (maybe try reconnect anyway).

I’ve done all that, it still is showing 3E751. I wonder if iOS 15.0.1 has prevented it from updating?

I’m on iPadOS 15.1 beta and can’t see it either. Maybe it is iOS 15.1 beta you’re on dfwiddoc?

I’m going to try my old iPhone 8 and see if it picks it up. Definitely not working on 13 Pro Max & AirPod Pro. It’s still connected and on charge no update.

Tried all that no luck, model A2084, version 3A283, iOS 15.1

Have you tried leaving the settings in backround? I switched to YT or Safari, and it was updated in a minute. Is your phone battery over 50%? I can only guess what’s holding the update, could be Apple’s servers, time zone, region..

new headphones update and not one person has mentioned anything about sound quality lol thats the most important part, has it been improved?

Then I’ll say it, transparency is the a little less background noise. Noise cancellation a little improvement, better balance no improved separation. Spatialize stereo improved. Try the original YouTube recording, 1975 official video of Bruce’s Glory Days.

Done in thirty seconds on iPhone 8
Did you get some kind of prompt to update the firmware? I have followed all the instructions, nothing. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting via BT, nothing. Tried rebooting my iPhone Xr (iOS 15.0.1), reconnecting via BT, nothing.

The headphones are in the case, the case is opened and plugged into a wall charger.

I made sure that software updates are all enabled on the iPhone and have tried waiting in both the Settings->General->About->Powerbeats Pro screen, as well as the BT info screen for the Powerbeats Pro.

It just sits at:

Model: A2048
Firmware: 3A283
Hardware: 1.0.0

Not sure what else to try.

Pro’s updated instantly as soon as I plugged them in. By the time I got to the Bluetooth/APP page I had the new version.

Edit: Case to 1.3.5 too.

Are you on 15.1 or 15.0.1. I'm looking to see what in "Find My" if the left behind function shows "Not Supported? Mine shows "On" but it also shows not supported.

I tried soon after I heard about the update, plugged in the AirPods > confirmed they were paired > left the case open > timed it, if took 28 minutes for the AirPods to request, find, download, and update. You will receive no prompt, or progress bar. Checked back every 5 minutes or so and it was done.
