Not that funny?

Ah that's why people are reporting it and it has now been removed. Great job guys.👏

Maybe we should also remove this joke from another user from last december?

It can take from hours to days to update.

My primary Pro's updated this morning, secondary Pro's are still on old firmware, last time it took week for both to be updated.
Looks like it’s updated now...no difference to me

Mine just updated. No noticeable ANC difference from the 2B588 firmware (casual user here).

Interestingly, I noticed that the case also got a firmware update today.

My AirPods Pro gave updated to 2D15 however my AirPod Case version is showing 0.62. Does that update later on?

My AirPods Pro have updated to 2D15 however my AirPod Case version is showing 0.62. Does that update later on? How do I force the case upgrade.

I have just updated mine. I Have an AirFly Pro that was rendered useless with the latest update. This doesn't improve the volume. I have went back to the old AirPods. Shame as these were killer on the Release Firmware.

well being a fussy b*gger, im happy that I'm sure bass response is better and they do indeed have a difference about them.. ANC seems better.. as im back to not being about to hear my own voice when music is loud and I talk .. outloud.

added bonus ear fit test not failed at all now.. (always left ear) so don't know if my ears have changed shape or they have adjusted some algorithm .

IS the rattling when you are talking to someone with them in? I get a vibration of buzz that sounds like speakers blowing out. But only when I’m talking with someone.
Yes, when you are talking, making sounds, sometimes moving... And btw, it still happens with this new update

My saga:

Had a rattle on Right earbud which was annoying everytime you cough/yawn or move about. 2C54 firmware.

Apple sent replacement bud which came on 2B588 but upgraded to 2c54 somehow (I thought it had been pulled). Anyway rattle had gone but Ear Test kept failing on left bud, new right bud was fine. Also my wife's airpod pros were still on 2B588 which sound much clearer, better ANC, bass etc - so kicked off at Apple who sent me a new pair.

They arrived last week on 2B588 and sounded great, just as wife's APPs did.

Latest firmware 2D15 now on my APPs and they sound as great as they did on 2B588 - so 2C54 definitely dodgy but current version seems to have restored things. Ear Test working fine on both buds too.

After the AirPods Pro have updated, you should unpair them and pair the again;

I got new items in the menu on ANC and haptic-button behaviour, and the context menu (when longpressing on the volumeslider in controlcenter) has different options.

This update fixed this annoying sound I was having when in transparency mode or ANC. Everytime I touched my right ear or walked more actively I had this high pitched rattle on the right. Thought already about returning them once the shops where open again. But it seems to be fixed (at least for the moment).

Can you post screenshots for those of us who don't own them?

Like what?

There has always been the three options in control centre volume.

If only this could fix the hissing sound when I speak with them on......Probably hardware error but I haven't been able to get them exchanged because Stores are closed and no in-mail repairs in my country.
I'm pretty sure this is a hardware issue. I had this in my right APP and Apple replaced it (only replaced the right Airpod) via mail.

Seems like people have quite mixed opinions about this update. I hope rtings.com or someone makes a more scientific test of this firmware too.

Not that this matters to me much anymore as my APP's are at Apple as they are being replaced due to the rattle issue...

Unpair meaning forget device or turning bluetooth on and off?

There is nothing new there, even if you pair them again.. Maybe you had them paired as standard bt device before?

Is this for the "Pro" only or does the update cover us standard Airpod plebs as well?

just upgraded from 2b588. No change in ANC or anything. Someone has tried if the mics works better and the voice is clearer from the other side of the call?

PS1: no changes in phone settings are available
PS2: the airpods case has upgraded also, from 0.72 to 0.73

Fix for the rattling please

Just got updated at lunch... before lunch rattling (been waiting for APPL stores to open to bring them in)...

After lunch with 2D15... still rattling...

Well bittersweet glad others are having this issue... don't know what's up with that, but it's annoying as H

I have just noticed that my Air Pod Pro case has now updated to V0.73. Does anyone here know what this change means or has introduced? Or am I being naĂŻve?
