Same here, hopefully those of us with Nov 17-24 will also be updated for delivery. I have AT&T!!

My personal experience with literally everything I have ever ordered from Apple that was to be delivered several weeks out is that they are fairly conservative with their delivery estimates and it has always come earlier than expected.

Made my order for pickup at an Apple store 2 miles away from me, on Nov 3rd. Order went through as a reservation, finally got a second email yesterday around 2 PM, and the order shows Nov 17-24th. Meh.

At least you can complete your reservation. I have to re-order apparently. I bet after 12 PM PDT youll get bumped up as everyone with a borked reservation lapses and inventory opens up a little.

I have zero interest in standing in line at an Apple store I lived my entire life without an iPhone X I'll get one when it comes in the mail... I am sure may several thousand iPX's are going to show up on eBay at inflated prices for those that can't wait

Well I'm still screwed, no change from December 5-11.

I got onto the iPX page at 3:03am but it took me half an hour to get an order confirmed with my Verizon account info. I kept getting errors until I realized it was because I was accessing the order page with my home internet which is a grandfathered Verizon ULD plan. I turned off wifi on my phone and, using my phone's Verizon account which is the account I used to buy the iPX, my order confirmed immediately.

Wish I'd thought of that before 3:30am, but I'm not very awake at that time, lol. Most people probably have cable or fiber for home internet so no problems for them. I'm in a somewhat rural area so I'm very lucky to have scored a grandfathered ULD plan (it's not actually unlimited, Verizon reportedly will terminate anyone who uses over 100GB). All my neighbors get something like 15-20GB per month for home internet, except for one rich guy who pays many hundreds of dollars for 200GB per month. Or maybe it's over a thousand now? I'll have to ask him next time I'm over.

Idk if this is true or not but happy as hell

Apple should just dump all these carrier related things. Don’t support next or jump or any other program. Sell one phone. And sell it outright, unlocked. If they want to offer some sort of monthly plan, that’s fine. But dump the carriers. Every device sold by apple could be used on any network. They have the power to do it.

Yeah but they have a lot of co-advertising deals. Almost every Apple ad that I see ends with a Verizon, AT&T, or whoever logo.

congrats to those that got updated shipping dates... I know I feel lucky that after my Apple Sore would not work until about 10-15 after 3 that I was still able to get a reservation on Nov3. but again congrats to everyone...

So Ming-Chi Kuo was basically bullsh*ting when he said there would only be a few million units for launch day. The supply is even more than last year's Jet Black iPhone 7.

Just remember that this is wave one of iPhone X orders. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the iPhone X won't be backordered severely during the holiday season, especially with Black Friday and the Christmas season approaching quickly ;)

Some customers who pre-ordered the iPhone X when pre-orders went live and initially received shipping estimates of one to two weeks are seeing their orders upgraded to delivery on November 3.

MacRumors reader Colin ordered a 256GB iPhone X from T-Mobile and was originally provided with a delivery estimate of November 10 to November 17, which has now been updated to November 3.

Colin's updated iPhone X delivery estimate
My own iPhone X order, placed right at 12:01 a.m., originally listed a delivery estimate of November 10 to November 17. It was just recently updated to a confirmed November 3 delivery date on Apple's site. Other customers who ordered early and saw the same delays may also get their shipments sooner than expected.

Colin's original iPhone X delivery estimate after pre-ordering
This is also good news for customers who have much longer wait times, as it suggests Apple is working rapidly to get orders out. Customers with two to three or four to five week delivery estimates may not have to wait quite that long if Apple can ramp up supply fast enough.

Right now, all iPhone X pre-orders are sold out and have been since about 15 minutes after pre-orders first went live. If you buy an iPhone X today, the delivery estimates are at 5 to 6 weeks.

Apple has confirmed it will have iPhone X stock in stores on launch day, so for customers who don't want to wait for weeks to get one of the new devices, lining up is an option. Supplies are limited, though, so it will be best to go as early as possible, likely even the night before.

That's what happened to my order as well.
I am on the upgrade program and did the initial credit check well in advance. The second the store came online I pulled the trigger and got a Nov 10-17 date. Last night it was changed to Nov 3rd and the sales tax on the iPhone has been charged to my credit card. The phone might get here before the leather case I ordered the next day.

i'm really worried about Apple's iPhone X sales numbers
Why? The reception has been crazy and this probably means the "analysts" were totally wrong about how many phones Apple has or will have to ship. 2-3M is a ridiculously low number and I have never believed it.

I'm not one of these people, still November 10th-17th for me. First year I won't be getting it day one since the iPhone 5 :( It could always be worse though

Hasn’t improved here in Germany for me, but we have slightly different dates anyway. Mine is 21 - 28th of November. I hope it is closer to the 21th then the 28th ;-)

Ordered the iPhone X at 3am on release night and the server timed out with Citizens Bank after placing the order through my iPhone upgrade plan... was scheduled for Nov 3 release date pick up. The order never fully went through and I got an email telling me to reorder and hopefully I would get it in mid to late Dec.

I was pissed to say the least but the point is to upgrade otherwise I would be on a conventional plan. So I ordered it. Fast forward to 7pm(ish)and I get a call from a Texas #. I answered thinking it was a spam call but they rarely call from TX. It was Apple who was very apologetic and is now sending me a phone on the release date(not free lol) The CSR told me this happened to some people and they were trying to make it right. I was surprised because I am just 1 of a however many who ordered this phone and would have been easy to shrug off. I appreciate good customer service.

joined to tell my story

Eric

Update...
It is now scheduled to ship Nov 3

This is the first time I’m not getting one on launch day since the original iPhone. My tradition is ended - thanks to Verizon’s business site :( (1st world problem ... I know)

Sad to experience the 11 min delay on the purchase. Was not able to access the site until 3:11AM. Got my delivery date 21 Nov - 28 Nov. Hope they move this forward as well. Pretty much bought mine right as the website was able to load up. Good to see they are moving quicker but hope to get my phone sooner.

How do you know that the order went through as an reservation? I bought the iPhone with pick up at the Apple Store and it has the status “Processing Item”.

I had this same issue. My internet is the fastest in the area and still had issues. Kept getting an error message for 30 minutes. I finally was able to get my order placed for mine and my wife’s phones with a delivery date of December 5th - 11th. Oh well I’ll get it when I get it. I’ve had my 6 for three years now as I skipped the 7. It will be fine everyone! At least I’ll be able to hear everyone’s complaints before I get mine...

I hope they didn't sell as many as they expected. It would send a message to Apple that a grand for a phone is ridiculous and nobody (except for a fool like me) is going to pay that much for it.
