Whoa!!! My pick up stills says pick up, I would be pissed if this happens to me

I had the option before the "reserved" crap happened todo in store pick up on Nov3... then when I went to buy after everything came back it was 17-24 shipping... :(
 
This is the first time I’m not getting one on launch day since the original iPhone. My tradition is ended - thanks to Verizon’s business site :( (1st world problem ... I know)
I blame my iPhone 7. Set my alarm for 2:45 on the east coast, never went off and I woke up at 3:30. First world problem or not, I was furious!

That really sucks!!! When are you getting yours? Ther weird thing is I wasn’t able to get Verizon’s site to work until 4am (east coast) but they said I’d get my phone by 11/15. I thought I’d be well into December. By 3:30 I almost gave up and went to bed. Luckily I persisted until 4
 
I wonder if the shipping times aren’t updated due to the silver color being harder to produce... just a guess.

Sure hope not! I ordered a 64Gb Silver iPhone X in the Netherlands (trough T-mobile), not even sure if they are getting any stock it seems like.... demand in the Netherlands seems to be very healthy indeed :)
 
Really that no one got it yet? Apple held all T-Mobile orders to “2-3 weeks” right at start to prioritize the IUP people! Take a look and almost every screenshot coming up are from IUP people, which is making them happy with that trick! Clever Apple!

I have a bit of a different story I wanted to share about my shipment date after seeing the MacRumors article. I was up at 3:01 AM EST just like everyone else and I was excited about being able to pick it up in one of the stores in Michigan on November 3rd. However, I had a problem enrolling in the iPhone Upgrade Program. After several failed attempts over an hour with both the app and my laptop's web browser, I had to take another route. The shipment date kept getting pushed back all the way to 5-6 weeks (as confirmed in the screenshot of my intial order email which shows the estimated delivery date of Dec 11-18) and all of the in-store pickup windows became unavailable so I decided to just use the Verizon Device Payment program with PayPal Credit. It actually worked out better for me since I wanted a lower monthly payment so I decided to make a down payment.

Apple emailed me the next day saying that their records appeared to show I had an issue with getting my iPhone Loan. I sent them basically that reply along with my order number as they requested. I woke up today and the transaction was finally posted and my delivery date was shifted to November 3rd as many others in this thread.

Haha you're telling me! I tried Apple first and they were already up at 4-5 weeks by 3:30. So I said screw it and went to AT&T, and same thing happened to me. I got put in a queue for a half hour and wasn't able to order mine until 4am. Luckily they had pretty good stock at that point still, so I have a ship date of between 11/2 and 11/10. So technically I still don't know exactly when I'm getting mine haha!!
 



Some customers who pre-ordered the iPhone X when pre-orders went live and initially received shipping estimates of one to two weeks are seeing their orders upgraded to delivery on November 3.

MacRumors reader Colin ordered a 256GB iPhone X from T-Mobile and was originally provided with a delivery estimate of November 10 to November 17, which has now been updated to November 3.

My own iPhone X order, placed right at 12:01 a.m., originally listed a delivery estimate of November 10 to November 17. It was just recently updated to a confirmed November 3 delivery date on Apple's site. Other customers who ordered early and saw the same delays may also get their shipments sooner than expected.

This is also good news for customers who have much longer wait times, as it suggests Apple is working rapidly to get orders out. Customers with two to three or four to five week delivery estimates may not have to wait quite that long if Apple can ramp up supply fast enough.

Right now, all iPhone X pre-orders are sold out and have been since about 15 minutes after pre-orders first went live. If you buy an iPhone X today, the delivery estimates are at 5 to 6 weeks.

Apple has confirmed it will have iPhone X stock in stores on launch day, so for customers who don't want to wait for weeks to get one of the new devices, lining up is an option. Supplies are limited, though, so it will be best to go as early as possible, likely even the night before.

We woke up late and ended up ordering an iPhone X 64GB from AT&T around 4:00 AM ET, oddly, with a launch day delivery (Nov 3.) the other 256GB order had Apple Upgrade Program errors around the same time. I received an email about it the next day and responded with a new order # I put in also the next day. It has a Dec 5 to 11 delivery dates :( Hoping Apple will push it closer as they are doing with the later Nov deliveries.
 
Mine was 11-17-11-24 at first but then it locked up during processing the monthly payments. Then it said not to reorder yet for a few hours. WHAT??? So in the morning of Fri Nov 27, I reordered again this time getting a delivery of 12-11 to 12-18 . Ugh!!! Then I received a letter from Apple and long story short, they had me give them my order number and they adjusted it to Nov 17-24 so I saved nearly a month there because of Apple being nice. So now I have to wait 3-4 weeks compared to 6-7 earlier.

I had problems ordering on Verizon's site too. The Apple store didn't work for me this time (kept saying check back soon) so I went with Verizon. Got the "Expected to ship 11/15" status so maybe I'll get it then? Fingers crossed they ship things out sooner..anyone know if Verizon does something like that?

I have a similar story. I couldn't get my second preorder in because of the loan thing. So the evening of the 27th I got a call at the phone nUmber for the other phone, but my fiancee who is the owner of that line had no idea I wanted to upgrade that phone too (surprise was spoiled), so my fiancee took a message for me and the apple representative asked to be called back. So I get the message from my fiancee and I call three times to no answer. The representative was either gone home for the day or was unavailable. So I had them transfer me to a regular customer service worker who had no clue what I was talking about or any info on the other preorder. So now I don't know what to do, and I'm thinking that that other pending order will be cancelled because it's already been two days later. I would think Apple's employees and systems could communicate with each other, but I guess not.

Somebody over on this forum claims to have had their original 11/17-11/24 delivery date updated to 11/3 delivery date! If true, its the first I've seen of this! (Post #130 on Page 6)

What carrier? Did you just refresh the app and it showed updates?
 
What countries are you from if your shipping date as changed? Apple must be calculating this on what ships and dock at what country. Mine is 13-20 and nothing yet UK. I think we need to start putting a country location in these posts to give readers a better chance of finding out if where they are in the list.
 
Wow, almost the same thing happened to me but I made it through the Apple upgrade program, submitted my payment information, and picked a location for pickup on November 3 as mail delivery was for 11/10, and then selected a time for pickup. This should have completed my order but I got the spinner of doom- which I let sit spinning, figuring it would process eventually. After ten minutes I went to a laptop browser and wasn’t able to enroll in the Apple upgrade program(just kept getting kicked out of those screens) so I did Verizon’s payment plan and got a shipping estimate of 11/15. But no email from Apple saying there was an issue. I got all the way through Apple upgrade enrollment and picked my pickup time on the 3rd when the app simply stopped responding. Is this worth a call to Apple to see if they have my info? I worried, actually, that I bought two phones, but I’ve only gotten the confirmation for the Verizon payment plan phone, delivering on the 15th.
