Is it just me or are the windows so blurry? I checked TheVerge's review and the VP's screen recording was so blurry. Hopefully it is not blurry when actually using it. Sample attached..
That's due to the foveated rendering, which you won't notice at all if you're the wearer of the headset.

Vision Pro is above 4K resolution. Vision Pro can provide screen sizes much larger than 100".
Still a ridiculous comparison. A large screen doesn’t weigh on your neck or isolate you from the rest of the world, and there are screens above 4k resolution and larger than 100’’, including projectors that can project as large as your wall.

That's foveated rendering. It renders at high detail where your eye are focused, and lower in your periphery. It should be unnoticeable in the headset.

The travel case is freaking huge... that's a big item to take onto a plane with a carry-on, another bag for your laptop, chargers, etc. The personas are super creepy. Again, if you are by yourself a lot, maybe this has some applications for you, but I'm definitely just going to return mine unopened.
The first time I saw the AVP case I knew I had seen it somewhere before…

One thing to note is what the reviewers haven't mentioned—and kind of distortion or offset from the passthrough cameras.

This is something that should improve exponentially as Apple focuses more on AI. I'm guessing the cartoon/impressionist painting style is somewhat deliberate until they are ready to roll out a "realistic" view that actually looks like real life.
If they were intentionally going for cartoony they would have just used Memojis. I’m kinda surprised that isn’t an option yet.

Some of his cons came off as trying to find a reason to be negative. For example, the battery life is same as the Quest 3.
Some of what he said about he UI and having to look at everything was more interesting. I also got the sense that reviewers relaxed a bit when using a kb and mouse. To be honest, I wish they could've focused more on mac and multitasking. I don't care about facetime and personas etc...

And just to be clear, you can get a 4k projector, a 150" motorized screen, and a decent surround sound system for less than you can spec a AVP. Hell, a Macbook, iPad Pro, iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPod Pros together can cost less combined than a AVP. AVP is the first big Apple launch I'm skipping since the original iPod.

The battery life on the quest three is also without an external battery pack and if you add the elite strap you get even more battery life. The quest is also $3000 cheaper

I’m guessing some of that is the foveated rendering that only renders clearly what your eyes are centered on.

Edit: Added screenshot from Brian Tong's video.
I think this is a similar situation to the old days when 3D was demo'd. You're not going to really see how it looks from pics/videos. You need to have the device on your eyes.

Holy crap watching Nilay's review I gained a new level of respect for The Verge (regardless of their new clown colored horrible website). Very fair and balanced, critical where it needed to be critical, and it just felt very real and authentic. The VP still baffles me as a consumer product other than as a very expensive VR headset. Maybe Apple should have kept it as a halo product for a few years mainly for developers instead of a full on consumer release. And even as a VR headset it seems to have many more limitations than we initially thought, FOV, color gamut, and Nilay's excellent point on having to point your eyes after decades of using computer peripherals without looking at them. It's pretty clear why some Apple higher ups were rumored to be infighting against the VP.

My impression is that the headset is a jack of all trades, master of none and it's clear that Apple is fighting an extremely uphill battle here. It's very un-Apple-like to ship something so undercooked in so many areas and Apple is taking an enormous leap of faith here. Every previous 1st gen apple device was a master of at least one thing, and that’s ultimately why they succeeded. Not so much with the Vision Pro.

They squeezed pretty much everything possible out of current technologies hardware-wise but the software side, especially as an extension of a Mac or a productivity tool, seems to be shipped in a very incomplete form.

Boy, iJustine really ripped into the Vision Pro. She can be so harsh at times!

I really don’t understand why people take her seriously. I was falling out of my chair laughing at her excitement over the cleaning cloth.

I guess people overlook the insincerity for the positive energy, but come on; she shouldn’t be in same list as Joanna Stern.

Yeah... I'll wait for the reviews from people who weren't hand-picked by Apple for a review unit.

And I'll wait a month or two as well, for the "newness" to wear off, so that the actual reviews can have some 20/20 vision (pun intended).
