Ran today and here is the Bank of America Plaza (1023'/312M) on a cloudless day from the corner of Ga Tech campus.

That's a big a _ _ garage for sure, good to hear the concrete doesn't bother you & been meaning to ask what type of ear buds do you use?
Oddly I tried counting all the elevators I could identify and got over 40. Of course most are not public and my building alone has 11.

Concrete has never bothered me. P3 is at ground level and asphalt (last 2 pics), so a mile or 2 were on asphalt.

Always been into quality audio. I have a pair of Ultimate Ears UE11Pro's with MMCX connectors and using TRN BT20S PRO Bluetooth for connection.

Now have shoulder inflammation and need to take some time off from weights.🥵 Went for a 9 mile run yesterday. Hate to brag (it is raining today) but it was a beautiful 50º F day while Texas and much of the south are suffering.

Amtrak station with my neighborhood in background.

Near catastrophe. A construction crane fell from a Midtown office building and was caught by the safety cables. Had a friend that was at a Whole Foods in building next to it.

Here is a pic from a few days ago of the 2 cranes and the left one fell.

Here is yesterday.

This is about as close as you can get (on foot running) since all the streets are blocked off.

Just to add from my run today. I got as close as I could to the midtown high-rise (going to be Google HQ/Southeast) crane. There are several "portable" cranes on site working to dismantle. I ran all around and in the alleys trying to get closer but there was security everywhere.

Here is a pic from across The Connector (I75/I85). Yellow crane is a "portable".

Check point on the other side of the falling crane. You are allowed to pass to walk to the Post Office only.

Fudging to get this pic and was told to get back across the street where the NEWS media are.

The comeback starts on Monday....

I signed up for an entirely new gym that is geared completely towards bodybuilding/powerlifting and CrossFit. I’ll post some pictures once I get acclimated of the set up, as it’s pretty unique. [So, I chose to start working out at 1:30 in the morning, there won’t anybody there and it’ll be completely safe away from crowds until we get the vaccine rolled out.]

also, I would like to post a physique update on here at some point with my progress. I’ll keep you posted.

Final Weigh in standing at 5’8:

I’m coming in at 12 pounds heavier than when I was when I stopped bbuilding due to the pandemic.

These are brew canisters that are the final holding place for the alcohol before distribution. They stand at nearly 100 feet.

10 Days later and still working to get the crane down.

(looking away from crane) Not often you can stand in the middle of a busy 4 lane city (one way) street with your back to the traffic and not worry.

Not a bad looking parking deck (on left) after they completed the camo. Almost looks like a real 15 story building.

Here is a pic of the side showing incomplete. Odd that about 30% of all space in a US city is devoted to these massive ugly ducklings and our cars. Add in the roads and it is almost 50% of all land in a city.

Out for a 7 mile run and on mile 1 I decided to test a sidewalk's concrete to be sure it was up to spec. Luckily my watch survived fine and was wearing gloves so my hands weren't burned. Also made the pic smaller so not to be too offensive.

And for something more pleasing. A taste of spring.

BTDT more times than I care to remember. My MO was to hop up as fast as possible to quickly end the embarrassment & then w/ blood drying as it ran down my shin I'm sure drivers thought "what's up w/ that cat's leg?"
How's that left knee today Julien?

Here is where I have been running for most of the time since COVID came to town - Galloway Road Sports Complex in Galloway, OH. There are 4 softball fields, a lot of trees and grass, and this loop around all of that (about 1.6 miles long).

I got in 9.13 miles today and I am hoping to get in a similar amount tomorrow.

Took this a few years ago during one of our weekly Wednesday night clinic runs.

Haven’t run in a year or so but my clothes are telling me I should lose weight. Now that winter has finally loosened its grip on us, I think it’s time to get started again.
