We mean that you used to have the access to the entire library on the watch, now it is only some cards that are playlists and not the full representation of all the music on the phone on apple watch. The 'Library' that it has all the way at the top of the app (so, bottom of the actual list) is only the music that seems to be synced to the Watch.
If they don't fix that by the final version I'm gonna get really mad at this ****! Having control of my whole library on the Apple Watch is the feature I use the most on a daily basis!!!

Speaking about restoring watches, watchOS 4 has a new syncing UI.

Walks through the watch basics like display, side button and the crown:

I'm sorry folks, I should’ve written re-prairing! Apparently you can restore from a backup as I did and certainly glad that it did the trick for you guys!

I do not see beta 2. Do I need to have beta 1 or can I just start with beta 2?

You should be able to start from beta 2 just make sure you have the beta profile installed and are currently on iOS 11 beta 2.

Update to Developer Beta 2 launched automatically during the night while charging. From wakup 6.30am after 3 hours, battery is 90%. Played with new Toy Story Face for 2 minutes, otherwise nothing. Using dock / app switcher seems faster and less buggy.

⌚️ Series 2, Modular face (with Date, Calendar, Weather, Weather Conditions and Workout complications). Will post battery status at evening...

No third party apps installed and to be honest, everything works the same as before, activity, stand, apple pay, etc. Battery life about the same too.

After doing this, I noticed messages icon is not listed in the list view but shows in the grid view.

Also, if you go into watch settings on iPhone e do you see all the icons? Ie my music, stock, weather and maps don’t show the colour icons. Only a dotted circle.

Yes, my icons show the dotted circle on a few of my apps in the watch settings app.

I can confirm after removing my watch and pairing it again as a new watch the terrible battery drain has stopped.
I'm trying to do this now and have done it in the past. This time though, the watch does not respond to touch on the step to create a passcode. The code appears on the screen but does not let me enter one. I selected the option to go without to continue but wonder why its broken on that step. Tried twice now, same thing.

Aside from the terrible problem with the battery initially, does it seem to be running better on this beta?
Just my opinion...it seems to me its been the same for the most part since WatchOS 2. OS 1 was the slow version but since 2 it has been about the same speed and feel. Features have been added through release 3 and 4 but day-to-day the watch is basically the same. Not a complaint mind you, just nothing to point at that stands out. Maybe when I go to the next hardware version I will see something but not in a hurry to update yet.
