for me only "airplane mode" is the solution for battery draining![]()
If they don't fix that by the final version I'm gonna get really mad at this ****! Having control of my whole library on the Apple Watch is the feature I use the most on a daily basis!!!We mean that you used to have the access to the entire library on the watch, now it is only some cards that are playlists and not the full representation of all the music on the phone on apple watch. The 'Library' that it has all the way at the top of the app (so, bottom of the actual list) is only the music that seems to be synced to the Watch.
I unpaired and re- paired my watch and now the battery drain is gone. Also my activity is back to normal.
A re-pair seems to have fixed the battery for my watch, actually. Leaving the location going doesn’t seem to have an effect on the watch, but I think it might be draining the phone a bit faster.I'll disable this and see if it improves battery life. I had this one for DP1, and it caused no issues, so I'm skeptical.

This seems to have worked for me too.
Did you restore from backup or setup the watch as new once you repaired the Watch?
Thanks

Trying this.
I tried everything, I got the update after having turned off and on bluetooth on my iPhone.
I do not see beta 2. Do I need to have beta 1 or can I just start with beta 2?
I set it up as new.
After doing this, I noticed messages icon is not listed in the list view but shows in the grid view.
Also, if you go into watch settings on iPhone e do you see all the icons? Ie my music, stock, weather and maps don’t show the colour icons. Only a dotted circle.
I'm trying to do this now and have done it in the past. This time though, the watch does not respond to touch on the step to create a passcode. The code appears on the screen but does not let me enter one. I selected the option to go without to continue but wonder why its broken on that step. Tried twice now, same thing.I can confirm after removing my watch and pairing it again as a new watch the terrible battery drain has stopped.
Just my opinion...it seems to me its been the same for the most part since WatchOS 2. OS 1 was the slow version but since 2 it has been about the same speed and feel. Features have been added through release 3 and 4 but day-to-day the watch is basically the same. Not a complaint mind you, just nothing to point at that stands out. Maybe when I go to the next hardware version I will see something but not in a hurry to update yet.Aside from the terrible problem with the battery initially, does it seem to be running better on this beta?
