Because it’s the only OS beta where you must send your device to Apple for a downgrade. Why is there no beta available to the public for watchOS? Always seemed odd seeing as there's a public beta for all other OSes.

Beta 5 on Watch Series 2 (Nike edition) is a very good daily driver.
Battery life is back to the same levels as OS3. Swim Pace is fixed.
Beta 4 was a bit buggy and slow, Beta 5 is fast and slick.
Impressed.
Can one install the watch 4 beta, with the public beta on a phone, or does one need the dev beta on the phone?
Understood. The question is does it matter if the PHONE is on public or dev beta. Must it be dev beta on the phone? I’ve got watchOS beta profile but don’t want to have to move phone to dev beta now since it’s already on public betaYou need the developer watchOS Beta Software Profile installed on the watch. There is no public beta for watchOS.
No it doesn’t matter. Just understand you can’t roll back to watchos3 if you have issues.Understood. The question is does it matter if the PHONE is on public or dev beta. Although I agree that idle battery life is better. With no workouts, I still have 72% at 2pm (getting up at 7am)Are people happy with battery life just not doing workouts? Two walking workouts and my battery is dead by 5pm.

Wondering if they will update the iPhone icon to reflect the iPhone Edition.I’m feeling like the control panel lay-out changed. The first image is the control panel of my Apple Watch (2015) on beta 5 of watchOS 4.0, the second image I found on the web. I quite sure that was the control panel of beta 4.View attachment 712201View attachment 712202
Anybody noticed change in the display of multiple notifications? They’re grouped together in a red notification. Haven’t succeeded in grabbing a screenshot as I scrolled down to fast and it was gone.
Battery continues to astound: 11 hrs 32 mins off charge (1 hr 13 mins usage) and still at 72%. This is the last I'll post on battery life, but I am still very, very impressed by this.

Do you still have the Developer Profile under Watch Settings>General>Profile? Not sure where to post this, but my Series 0 is stuck on watchOS 4.0 (build 15R5307f) and won't update and further. Sorry if I posted in the wrong thread, but I need help quickly and didn't know where to post. Thanks!
Series 0?I have been doing 2 outdoor hikes per day using the GPS. Take it off the charger at 6AM and at 10PM i still have 35-50% left
No VO2 currently on the Nike app.Does the Nike app record your VO2 max or do we still need to use the Apple workout app?
