Yeah mines done it a couple of times. Series zero stainless. Not sure what triggers it but it hasn’t happened on every run.

Paul.

There's a minimum length of run for the calculation. I swear someone mentioned that it is in the description..

That's good to know! Thanks.

I went for a nearly 4 hour walk on Sunday. Thought that would trigger it, but nothing appeared.

Believe it is also reliant on persistent heart rate readings, so if your watch loses heart rate tracking in the middle, it might prevent the VO2 reading.

Why isn’t weather showing up there?

Just rode 14 miles home from work and I’ve just seen it show up in Health.

Edit

Looks like it measured whilst I went for a walk at lunchtime, not the ride.

I've read a lot about OS4 not allowing you to see and select music from the phone. That doesn't concern me. What does concern me is a little tidbit I saw on somebody's post that you can't have music playing in the background. When I run, using Nike Running Club, I also play music I have stored on my watch. Is that still going to be possible?

Thanks.

You can play music in the background. No concern about that.

I’m having an issue getting my phone to download the latest beta. I got the iOS update this week but I can’t seem to get the watchOS update to show up.

My build is showing as 15R5331g. Is this the latest build and I somehow missed the download/update?

No. Not the latest. Try a hard reset on your phone.

Strange. Did a hard reset, reinstalled iOS developer profile, reinstalled watchOS beta profile and still not getting it. Checking for update spinner for a minute or two and then I either get “up to date” or “could not connect to watch”.

Same exact thing for me.

Oh well. Not terribly concerned. Everything still works and I plan on updating to either a Series 2 or whatever they announce next month.

This has been happening a lot. It happened to me on Beta 5. Did all the things you’ve been doing and it finally worked. Not sure if my actions “fixed” things or if the server just decided to be nice to me....
