Beta 2 has arrived... I can't wait to see everything people find!

Excellent, this is hopefully a much needed update. My battery life was especially suffering.

Maybe now I can finally leave the South Atlantic Ocean.

:D:D Hey I don't know, I liked all of us being in the middle of the ocean in our close knit community!

I'm not getting the update :(
When I'm in the Watch app on my phone, I'm checking in Settings, General, Software Update and it just says "watchOS 2.0 Your software is up to date." My phone is on iOS 9 b2 if that's any help.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately, Apple pulled the update. They mistakenly made watchOS 2.0 beta 2 available to even the general public.

No idea when they will push out the update again. I hope we don't have to wait a whole another two weeks. They're probably making sure this doesn't happen again though.

Update is available again just now...woo hoo!

If the update doesn't show up, make sure you try re-downloading the watchOS 2.0 beta profile. That's what I had to do. After the watch restarted, the update finally showed up.

EDIT: Just updated. And I can now confirm that we will all be stuck in South Atlantic Ocean for a little while longer.

EDIT2:

- Mack Lake joins the timelapse watch face along with Shanghai, New York, Hong Kong and London.

At least it's not as lonely stuck in the South Atlantic Ocean as I thought it would be.

BTW -- Mack Lake was on Beta 1 as well.

Yep you are right. For some reason, I didn't notice that on beta 1. I vaguely remember the others. Thanks!

EDIT: I haven't noticed anything new, except that the Glances are updating really quickly for me. Anyone else notice this? For example, Dark Sky's glance used to take ages to update, or even not update at all, and now it literally takes 2-3 seconds. Not as quick as I would like, but it's a dramatic improvement nonetheless.

Checked my watch last night after updating to iOS9 beta 2 and before updating my watch to beta 2 and the weather had fixed itself. On beta 1 there were 2 weather glances showing on the watch app this is now back to 1 weather glance. I've updated to WatchOS 2 beta 2 this morning and the wather is still working ok.

Think this was down to the beta 1 of iOS9 rather than anything to do with WatchOS.

Does anyone else have issues with the latest WatchOS2 update and the watch Workout app?

When I use workout + GPS, raise to activate watch stops working.

It seems that any combination of GPS + Heart Rate monitor messes with the raise wrist to activate watch function. However, after the update it seems that the heart rate monitor function in the workout app possibly disables it too. It functions normally after I finish the workout.

I've become accustomed to monitoring my heart rate during my runs so this issue is quite bothersome.

In WatchOS beta 2, when using iMessage on the Apple Watch if you force touch during dictation you can choose your language. (Language was previously set according to the keyboard being used on iPhone with this specific contact.)

Pictures are taken with iPhone screenshots on AW seem to be broken for me in beta 2. I tried looking for a toggle ON/OFF.. But nope..

I noticed we get a 'complications' settings in the watch.app in iOS 9.0b2 as well, but nothing there at the moment.

Am I the only one who seems to have lost haptic feedback since beta 2?

Edit: requires a re spring, despite turning it off and back on. All working fine now so possibly unrelated to the update or people might just need to re spring it once.

How do you respring?

You can't respring the watch. You can only do that to a jailbroken iPhone. I think he might have meant he rebooted the watch (powered it down and back up).

BTW -- the Watch icon interface is called Carousel not Springboard, so technically even if we could do it, we call it "recaro" :)

Since updating to beta 2 my battery is draining by 10% every 20 minutes. Any suggestions to what is causing this? anyone else with the same issue?

I am in the middle of updating now and need help. The status ring around the apple logo has already gone around twice and is on a third time but stuck at 1%. Is this normal?
