Get back to me on it as well because I'm interested to see whether the sensitivity differs between models.
I made a stand for my watch that charges on its side, getting ready for the feature. If I tap the top of the stand, the display will come on. Its sensitive. If we ever have an earthquake, I should be able to tell you what time it happened.

I find that you don't even need to tap the display as such - a slight movement of the Watch and the display comes on.

When I want to view it I just tap/lightly nudge my bedside cabinet and I get the time. I think it's a fair compromise.

Tried it and it works. I literally tap my bedside unit and it came on. Thanks.

Wondering if others noticed the resting calories appears to be fixed? They removed the wording for resting calories but somewhere in the past week or so, it looks like the numbers are now correct. For example...

If I had 700 calories for a workout, my total days calories were 3600 but are now 2600. I assume iOS beta 5 fixed this.

I'm on watchOS1, but was wondering if performance of the watchOS is improved in version 2?

I find the interface quite choppy and not smooth at all (especially when navigating around my list of apps or loading up and switching between glances).

Day 14 of my return period is tomorrow. I don't know if the watch is under powered (and therefore will always be like this) or improvements are coming soon in watchOS 2.

To me, beta 5 is solid and the battery has been great. I have noticed the glances are slightly faster and smoother. Didn't notice much of a problem with navigating through apps on version 1 though.

I'm becoming more and more impressed wit the watch and looking forward to native apps and some other workout apps and features.

The only issue I have seen so far with beta 5 is every so often a notification will double (I think Exchange only) and when it does I can see the watch face through the bottom half of the notification. I sweep up and back down to refresh the screen view and it goes away. End of the day, not a big deal and I can almost prevent it. Overall, very happy with the beta and love seeing the multicolor display on Modular. I started out against this face having worn analog watches for so long but have really grown to like the amount of info it provides and the slightly larger complications. Looking forward to maybe swapping weather glance for Dark Sky-feels like temperature. (assuming they make that and I can click on the temp to see rain forecast, awesome)

Sorry if this has been covered, but has anyone been unable to verify a credit card for Apple Pay for Watch OS 2 via the iPhone iOS 9 beta 5 Apple Watch application? The Apple Watch app fails to verify any of my cards but reports no error. By fail, I mean opening the banking app on the iPhone does nothing to verify the card.

To be clear, my cards are verified for Apple Pay on the iPhone but fail to verify for use on the Apple Watch.

Is there a potential workaround I can try?

Thanks.

I have IoS9 Public Beta and Apple Watch OS2 beta 5 and Apple Pay Works though I had to re-setup. Tested and works fine.

I have Capital one 360 and the wallet app never has worked for me on the watch. I had to switch the verify to call in and I called in and they verified it.

Thank you. Restoring the Apple Watch again didn't work, but calling Capital One and having them activate my Apple Watch for Apple Pay did.

It took about 30 minutes to get to a technician who could activate it manually. First line of support ran through the troubleshooting steps and couldn't get it working using the Wallet app.

In my case i have two problems:

1. When I pair with my iPhone, I can not connect with my ID. I have to avoid that part.
2. I can't sync weather.

Any idea?

Is beta 5 stable enough for daily use?
I installed it on Saturday and it's been great for me so far. Battery life seems the same.
The only issue I encountered was Hey, Siri didn't work initially but as other posters have said, re-pairing it fixed it!:)
Ive not had any other issues!

Weather widget on the watch face doesn't update per location as it did on 1.0.
Sometimes I have and app open on the watch that I didn't open by myself.

Ditto on Siri and the beta 5 has been very solid and makes me look forward to the release. They also fixed the resting calories and battery is definitely at least equal to 1.0.1

Weather works fine on my beta 5. I use it on the modular face and it seems to be faster at updating as I travel.

What's the procedures to install it? I already have iOS 9 beta on my iPhone. Thanks.

If you are not a developer, do a google search for Apple Watch os2 install beta for free

There is a YouTube video to show you and download the profile. Simple instructions.

I dont think thats only a question of battery life: OLED panels are losing brightness with every second of usage. So setting up the nightstand mode 'always on' will cause 'shadows' on your watch screen in the medium term.
I really hope it has an option to always stay on while being plugged in, without that it's just a novelty. Who has a nightstand clock that turns itself off?
