I checked the Apple Store app and it showed that the model I wanted was available to reserve and pick up in fifteen mins. By the time I decided to pull the trigger (about thirty mins later), I no longer had the option. I decided to walk in and check to see if they had any in stock. I got put on a list, waited about thirty minutes and walked out with my watch. Overall, I am pretty happy with the experience. :)

I originally made my reservation for 7:00-7:30 at one store around 8:05am this morning. But a few hours later I decided to make a second reservation for 8:30-9:00 at a different store just in case I didn't get off work on time which happens more often than I'd like. Thankfully I followed my gut instinct because work delayed me for an hour which didn't allow me to reach my second reservation until 8:45pm. Talk about cutting it close!

*on a side note*

I asked my Apple rep if they had any watches left and he said they did. He said they had a decent supply left in both 38 and 42mm flavors. It didn't surprise me about the 38mm version but I didn't think they'd have any 42mm left. I guess Apple has finally caught up with supply and demand.

I picked up my watch today.. made reservation around noon and picked up ~2 pm... very pleased...

Pics of the bag you got at the Apple store or it didn't happen ;)

How about the reservation? AND the bag? (Pardon the mess)

I'll have to take another pic when I get home, but I picked up a Silver Apple Watch Sport w/ a Green Band yesterday. The rope handles on the bag matched the color of the band I bought. Someone else was getting an AWS with a blue band, and their bag also matched the band color.

I know its a little thing, but that's what helps make Apple stand out from the rest.

Picked mine up yesterday. Store not very crowded.

As we were waiting for it to initialize, the employee whipped out her personal phone to show me the settings app -- it was in a folder called MISC. CRAP.

So of course I had to give her a hard time -- "you put work apps in a CRAP folder? I'm gonna rename my WORK folder the same thing!"

Picked mine up in store (san diego) yesterday after reserving on the apple store app....was in and out of the store in 15 minutes

Just picked mine up this morning at 10AM. I was in and out within about ten minutes (was an hour drive). Currently setting it up as I type and pretty excited as I cancelled my pre-order to get it sooner than July.

I am going to be picking up mine in about 2 hours from now. I thought the process was a little strange online having to text a code, etc., but nonetheless, I am very excited.

Oh and I am surprising my wife with one as well :)

Picked mine up by walking in. Stainless steel 42 with sport band. I made a reservation for the classic 42 but missed it by 10 minutes. By the time I arrived late, it was already sold out.

Ordered exactly at 8am this morning and picked up in NYC. Was told their were plenty for walk ins at the upper west side store. Purchased a 42mm SS link

I am toying with the idea of upgrading to 42mm SS (with Sports band), returning my Space Gray Sports. There's nothing available right now in my area. I'm not even getting an option for other states either (White or Black sports band SS models).

Not sure how it works, maybe reservations "turn off" at a certain time. The store down the street closes at 9PM, it's 7:12PM right now. I'll check tomorrow.

Anyone know exactly when does the 14 day returns kick in? Billed on the 11th, Watch was shipped the 12th. I received it the 15th. Technically I wouldn't be returning, I'll be trading in and shelling out another $200 bucks.

Does this mean we can get our watches serviced at the store now without having to send it out?

Walked in to the Pioneer Place store this morning (Portland, OR) and picked up a 38mm sport with green band within 5 minutes. They seemed to have stock of all sports (silver at least) models and most of the SS. They're still very short on separate bands though, with only sports available (no milanese/leather etc).

Pretty pleased as I fly back to the UK today, so they got them in store just in time to pick this one up for the wife!

I thought this was a really nice touch, too! The bag for my Apple Watch w/ Pink Sport Band had pink rope handles. Gotta love those little extra things Apple does.

The bag for my white 38mm had silver handles, didn't notice any other colors but I didn't really look.

Yeah, the handles are colour coded. I was given green to go with the watch. Bit of a ridiculous touch there Apple, so few people will notice!

Reserved two this morning one sport one ss . Still waffling on which to get as I'm not a typical watch wearer.

Waste of money but I'm sure Apple could care less. The bag that was handed to me ended up in the trash can outside the Apple Store.

Walked into my local apple store and picked up a 42mm Space Gray Sport this morning.
