What I don’t get is that car theft is huge in the U.K. as is iPhone theft. There’s a huge crime surge with people having their iPhones stolen directly out of their hands on the streets. Those that go around driving an apple car which will no doubt be an amazing vehicle will literally have their homes targeted by thieves to steal an apple car. It’s going to be like a giant iPhone times hundred. The insurance is going to be insane on an apple car as they will be stolen left, right and centre.

Not if the wheel hubs are huge AirTags.

Another move that clearly shows that there is no Apple Car on the horizon. In any case, Apple is already late unless they have some out of the world battery technology in their sleeve, which is highly unlikely.

Kevin Lynch moves at a snail’s pace in adding new features and updates to the Apple Watch. So I’m not so optimistic.
Most Apple Watch features are about health which is under strict scrutiny from organizations like the FDA and medical oversight boards. They move very slowly and require months or years of testing before they approve health features to be sold to consumers.

From their smallest to their biggest product. I must admit I'm very curious to see what this Apple Car is going to look like, I feel as if we've been reading rumours about it for almost a decade.

Perhaps Lynch will add Apple Health features to Apple Car...
The push yourself option. Green, environmental friendly, long lasting battery, and brings out the Superman in you. And probably a social experience as well.

Yes! I like this guy and he seems a great example of 'Apple culture'.

I love what they've done with his keynote persona in the pre-recorded video segments (IIRC, one had him beamed via a site-to-site transport across Park, using his Watch!) and it feels like the 'image-people' at Apple have been sprucing him up for more primetime as "(a) face of the company", in a similar way Craig Federighi has evolved.

I can picture him on stage talking about Apple's future vehicle in the same way he brought excitement & a clear dedication to product in Watch intros.
