Wisconsin here as well but I am in the 4-6 week range but I have enjoyed reading that everyone is getting their alerts so come on Wisconsin.

My FedEx comes in the morning so that is good because the nearest center is in Roseville, MN.

Question for those who want the watch for dressing up. My son wants an apple watch for his birthday next month so I am thinking of giving him my order for a 42mm SS with classic leather buckle. And either getting the SS Space Gray Link or Silver link. Would the space gray SS clash with all bands or would it look good with the black and blue loop?

Apple watch

Hi folks!
Apple watch Sports, Space Grey, 42mm
Just noticed on my online banking that the £339 is pending and it has disappeared from my available £:)
Must have happened the last hour or so as I keep checking...
Status is still processing though...
I'm in Liverpool, UK btw
Received confirmation 8:02 on the day of order...

3 of my friends who ordered after me and got Sports with white or green band s got charged yesterday at 3pm. No one i know has been charged for space gray

Hope we hear something by the end of the day. Looks likes the the 42MM Sports with black band are all in the same boat.

So far I find it very odd that the 42mm SG Black are all coming out of the UK. Haven't really seen anyone get confirmed in the US.

I feel like the only explanation for some going through and some not is your location to shipping centers. Wisconsin here, and still no charge or updates on my order.

Edit: I know, I know, first world problems and all. Came across this in a thread last night and couldn't help but laughing because it's SO true.

Lol, thanks for the laugh. I'm on the same boat as you#

If his was already mentioned I apologize, I have read every comment in this thread (up to 6 pages ago since I was asleep) and I feel I need to put some theories to rest since from personal experience.

I live in the Bay Area, at 12:02 AM PST I ordered a "Black" Aluminum 42mm.

My neighbor (4 doors down) bought a "Black" Aluminum 42 mm and a stainless steel with a leather loop in 42mm at around 12:22AM PST (20 minutes past mine)

BOTH of his are preparing for shipment and mine is Processing.
My name starts with a T and last name starts with an M, his name starts with a V and last name starts with R.

So Alphabetically, I am first regardless of first or last name, we are next to each other, I bought one watch he bought two.

So there is absolutely NO reason for his to be preparing and mine to be processing, the odds are all in my favor and yet his is preparing and mine is processing.

Then only thing I do not know is if his credit card number starts with a lower number than mine to make his first in numerical order which I doubt will make a difference.

So to me, Apple has a big bag full of the pre orders, pulling random names and processing the orders and all the rest can go to hell.

If I hear of anyone who ordered theres after mine got theirs on the 24th and I don't, yes I will raise holy hell with Apple because it is just not right.

Black may be a bit weird as well as most other bands. I think it would look best with blue loop. Personally I would just go with an SS. The link band for the DLC SS dozen't even look like it matches in person..

I headed over to my local Apple Store for a trial of them. I ordered the SG black sport band, but they switched out for me to the SS link, the milanese and the leather in both brown and black. To be honest the contrast wasn't as pronounced as i thought. I thought they looked great together. I came home and ordered the milanese to go with it. Good luck

Ordered my Black 42mm Sport at 0003 hours and I am in Sacramento Ca. Still Processing :(

WI here also. I'm in the 4-6 week boat for the SG Sport even though I ordered at 2:03. All of my Apple stuff usually comes UPS. I'm ok with that, though, since they deliver at 10:30 and FedEx delivers at 12:30. After 4-6 weeks of waiting it will be nice to know I don't have to wait those 2 extra hours! :)

Ordered my 42mm SG Sport 4/10 at 2:02 CST; Del Date 4/24 - 5/8

Still no charge on my account, still says processing.

Chicago, IL

Hurry up and take my money Apple! This has been the longest two weeks ever!!

Yep. Just checked mine and the money has vanished from my account here in the UK. The site hasn't updated yet but I suppose that's the same as everyone else. I guess we are a smaller country so it's not such a logistical issue here as it would be in the states. Mines an SS with classic buckle.

Yep. This. And Apple doesn't care. They've always processed orders, I believe, in a near-random order from the current "batch", regardless of time placed. It's happened to me with phones and other items year after year.

At this point, I do not expect to receive my watch on 4/24 and I'd be surprised if it comes by 5/8.

And Apple could not care less. They simply have too many customers for any one individual to matter.

Perhaps Apple perceive your neighbour to be a 'better' customer as he ordered 2 ;)

(duck and run)

All joking aside ..... when you raise "holy hell" ... what do you really expect anyone to do just because someone received theirs that ordered 2 minutes before you ? ..... one thing that you haven't factored in is that orders could end up with different carriers this could impact handling times and updates ?

I hate you all I have to wait till June :p

I hope they ship sooner. But I have been waiting for years to be announced and released I can wait for a month or so.

Nothing showed up on my credit card when using the iPhone App so I called them and they said the transaction went through yesterday!! Now I just need an email from Apple regarding delivery.

I remember with the iPhone 6 launch people were freaking out and pissed off because people were seeing movement from Fedex, even people that had ordered after others and people were complaining. Then suddenly UPS orders started popping up and people remembered Apple uses both UPS and FedEx. Just because mine is preparing for shipment doesn't mean yours is behind. Maybe Fedex is getting ready to get mine and UPS will get yours tomorrow because of your geographical location.

Raising holy hell is a figure of speech, of course Apple won't give two ***** one way or another, at best they will say an "I am very sorry" and maybe offer some free crap to "try make things better".

That being out of the way, my neighbor did not order his 2 minutes before me, he ordered it 20 minutes AFTER me, I was in bed ready to sleep as he was ordering, and yes , orders could end up with different carries BUT with the houses being 4 doors apart on the same street, I am 110% sure they will not because that would make absolutely no sense.

Interesting, I just checked my MasterCard account after reading your post and I now have a pending transaction for £299 - Apple Watch Sport with white Band...:D

Although the other one I ordered - Apple Watch with black sport band is not yet pending, having said that it did specify a delivery date of 12th May - 26th May. That's the reason I ordered the Watch Sport immediately after realising I wouldn't get the one just mentioned on day of launch!
