Apple Watch Order Statuses Shifting to 'Preparing for Shipment'

I made a UPS account and it shows no packages. I can't find it using the reference tracking either.
Just received shipment notification Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Cable for 4/22. Hopefully the watch notification will come tomorrow.

12:04 purchase 42 sport black no charge If it doesn't come through today, my feeling is that Apple will change the ship date on those...I don't think there is enough time to get the watch if they charge me tomorrow by this Friday. Still can't believe a 2 minute difference means I might not get the watch this Friday...GEEZ

Order confirmation at 2:03 CST for 42MM SG Black strap. Order status still not changed....still processing. I have been noticing from other sites as well that the 42MM SG with the black straps are the ones most people are not getting shipping updates for. Guess those were the high demand.

In the UK and I just had my card charged - sport watch with white band. I haven't received any other notifications though, and my order status still displays processing. Ordered at 8:04 AM.

I think Apple should use the order confirmation screens posted in the ebay ad's to track down who is scalping launch day products and cancel their orders.
Or in the least, push them out until July

I feel like the only explanation for some going through and some not is your location to shipping centers. Wisconsin here, and still no charge or updates on my order.
Edit: I know, I know, first world problems and all. Came across this in a thread last night and couldn't help but laughing because it's SO true.

I too ordered one and was able to get it ordered and confirmed by 12:04PST with a 4/24 - 5/8 ship via the app store app. No changes to my order status, nor has my card ben charged yet. I did not get an email confirmation until i called apple cause I was worried, but they confirmed that it had gone through, but they were having some problems with apple pay not going through right away. I hope that doesn't cause my order to be delayed.
I've seen a couple of people say their SG 42mm status has changed but I can't confirm that.

WI also here, I hope they don't use fedex... my fedex guy doesn't come until like 7pm and the center where I go to pick it up is such a pain to get to.

I called Apple, since my billing address was wrong (Work). I have two orders one for a Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Black Classic Buckle and the other for extra bands.
When I ordered the Watch, I was in a hurry and used my default card (Debit) by mistake when I hit
Pay. The bands I selected the CC I wanted to use. I had the rep change the Billing address to the correct one (Home) for the Watch but it was declined. I don't know why. But to speed things along, I had her switch to my CC and that went though. The Band order, I had her fix the address also with no problem
I just received E-mails from Apple that the changes have taken place with the correct billing address. But the order status on the website still has the bad address but updated CC.
I went and change my billing info on all my cards in pay. The Cards that I haven't used didn't have any address selected. This was first time using Pay since I had to Reload my cards after the iOS update. I selected my Work address for shipping. I guess it then used that for billing also.
If you already haven't done so, check and fix you billing address on each card you have in Pay

I know it sucks! I think a lot or people who ordered the 42MM SG Sport (Black strap) with the 4/24-5/8 shipping time are not getting theirs by Friday!
Wisconsin here as well but I am in the 4-6 week range but I have enjoyed reading that everyone is getting their alerts so come on Wisconsin.
My FedEx comes in the morning so that is good because the nearest center is in Roseville, MN.
3 of my friends who ordered after me and got Sports with white or green band s got charged yesterday at 3pm. No one i know has been charged for space gray
