both my friend and I just got off the phone with apple. I was asked about the delivery date. She only told me it could come in April May or June. She then told my friend that his watch would arrive on the 9th, 24th, 8th, 19th or 12th

Fellow anxious people who haven't had their order status switch yet: There are currently 5 UPS planes that are hauling absolute ASS to Anchorage. I expect these have the remaining SS/Various Sport models for launch window in them. We should be seeing more status changes change this evening as they make their way to Louisville. Everyone keep calm, they're on the way!

Just spoke to my bank, Apple took the charge for my watch about an hour ago (16.00 BST)
42mm Stainless Steel
Black leather classic buckle
Apple website is still showing as Processing Items but I'm confident mine is going to be here on Friday.
For completeness, my order went through around 8.02 BST on the 10th.

I wonder if it could be credit card used?
For example, I order a 42MM Steel Sport at 12:03, no change yet, AMEX
GF order a Blue 42MM Sport at 12:03, VISA, charges pending.
AMEX has essentially no limit, so billing and processing is not in question. VISA and MC usually have a limit, so the processing of the payment and confirmation prior to shipping would need to be confirmed in ADVANCE and then confirmed and done. with AMEX there is essentially no risk for Apple to prepare shipment, bill, receive funds, ship.

There is still a limit on Amex just not done in the same way as MC or Visa. Even if you have an Amex chargecard there is a limit, you couldn't for example go out and buy a Ferrari on Amex and expect it to go through without question, it still needs to go through authorisation.
It's unlikely the orders placed on pre-order day will be done in precisely the same order they came in.

Caught up on some Game of Thrones waiting for the kick off so it all almost worked out.Anyway refreshing App store app, I got in at 201AM central time took me less than 20 seconds I would say to place order put my thumb on Apple pay and be done. When I hear my wife having issues with her app...
Note this is the definition of karma... I had a little smirk and thought in my head of how happy I was that I got mine in so early. Went to help her out, anyway in a rush I closed the app and started again, went through and got her the phone.... She was all sad face that her order went in at about 204am.
Oh yeah and the karma thing....I ordered the 42 SG Sport and she got the aluminum sport white.
Guess who's getting their watch first? I older her last night I got the prep email for her watch and she was excited. A little part of me died, kind of like voldemort and his horcruxes
Anyway excited for the everyone getting theirs, at least I have all our accounts shipping to my work address so I still get to wear it first, she already gave me permission when she saw my sad face last night

that's right that was yesterday. glad you know how to read. and today I was charged and got the text saying it shipped.
Awesome! Then you'll have no problem taking a screenshot from your phone of either apples website or that text message confirming it. Otherwise, he has a right to be skeptical
Ordered the same. Still processing. I received my order confirmation at 3:16 am on 4/10

If I am reading that correctly it says that those planes landed in Louisville this morning (9hours ago).
I ordered a 42MM Sport for myself and a 38MM Stainless Steel for my wife. I ordered mine first and my wife's a few minutes later. I've been charged for mine and the status is now "Preparing for Shipment”. My wife's is still in the "Processing Items” state. Both say to expect delivery between 4/24 and 5/8.

Soooo, has anyone gotten a "shipped" status yet? Any proof with a screenshot with that as I see the message above had some people who didn't necessarily believe you. Mine of course is in the preparing for shipment. I also received my email at 3:02 am ET after preorder on the 10th so while I am not positive, I feel like I would have made it to the 24th delivery window. Anyways, just wondering if anyone has received a confirmed tracking number with regards to their Apple watch order.

Apple have taken the payment - well they have assigned the payment. Apple Sport Space Grey.. in the UK.
I think I ordered it about 2 or 3 mins past the launch time but I was in Thailand at the time using terrible internet and used the app.. so if it worked it will be a miracle!

Hey buddy, I'm so sorry but yesterday there were 11 SG 42mm watches on this thread that got the charge and update.
I'm in the same boat as you but have friends and members here that are getting what you and I aren't
My wife ordered the 42mm SS with classic buckle band. Confirmation at 12:04am (PST). Her CC was charged and her order now shos preparing for shipping.
