Apple Watch Order Statuses Shifting to 'Preparing for Shipment'

Well I say that because I ordered a 38mm sport with white band and a 42mm SS with black sport band. I only received an email concerning the SS order that hasn't changed from processing. I hope you're right though..
Right. I keep checking to make sure my billing info is ok. At this point, I'm not really checking to see when the watch ships. I know when I got my 6+, I got my order in about 6 minutes after the pre-orders began & I ended up waiting the entire 2 week delivery window. So we'll see what happens. Here's hoping though!
I didn't get the email and I still have not been charged or shipped
not sure if thats worse for me or for you..
What's killing me is that I'm only 3 hours from Louisville and only 3 hours from Memphis.
Ahh I understand. I guess we'll see what happens in the morning. I hope I'm right too. I would love my watch, but I'm setting myself up to try not be bummed come Friday. I know I'm going to get my watch eventually.

I pre-ordered my 42mm stainless steel with white sports band on 4/10 at 12:06am PDT.
My order has been showing as "preparing for shipment" for 4 days now !!
No change to my order. I'd expect a shipping confirmation by now

I ordered the same model but I didn't get that email. Mine also says "Preparing for Shipment"

I have a theory about the black sport bands..
It obviously seems like thats the biggest hold up. I think apple watch models ordered with the black bands are being pushed back due to a shortage of black bands, and the orders that originally had a later ship date are being pushed forward due to the availability of other colored bands being available..

Ontario is one of the UPS West Coast Hubs. It will have tons of deliveries both Apple and Non Apple related.
I got the same email ~8pm PST. I ordered a 42mm SG Sport @ 12:03am on 4/10 according to my order email from apple.
It means... Between 4/24-5/8, otherwise.... not on 4/24 or 5/8. Seems like Monday/Tues if we're lucky.
It is late afternoon on Thursday the 23rd in Australia,
So I got that email saying we are working on your order however with no status change or charge to my card. I contacted support and he said it def won't ship tomorrow. He did say that it goes on model + order position not just order position alone. He went on to say that all of the space grey sport watches will be later than other models as they are the most pop.
He confirmed that we will get the confirmed order and tracking number tomorrow for delivery mid to late next week.
So for those Aussies that have space grey it doesn't matter if your ordered on zero hour like me. We picked (cause we r poor) the most popular
watch.

Not to be that guy, and definitely not to taunt anyone, but I ordered a 42mm SG Sports in QLD, and mine is preparing to ship. I spoke to Apple, and they were confident it could be delivered tomorrow. Just saying to give hope to others in my position!
I've ordered a pink 38mm in UK and still nothing
and my delivery was 24/4-8/5 my order went through at 8:03 in UKHas anyone who has gotten that e-mail have it go to preparing to ship? If not you probably won't get yours on Friday. No emails and preparing to ship for me but I also have the white band sport which even people who are suppose to receive it in June are getting theirs on Friday. I hope that I am wrong and those e-mails mean jack.
