Apple Watch Order Statuses Shifting to 'Preparing for Shipment'

Has anyone heard anything regarding the pink sport ones ?
My cousin got her confirmation email at 12:02 am PST (38mm) and is still in processing. Just curious is anyone has been charged for them yet.

Agreed, I already have the email written out in my head. Not only have they failed to keep us informed but they have been downright duplicitous. Remember that magical 24th of April release date they announced back on March 9th? Then when we all get up early to order when Apple have asked us to a few minuets past 12.00am PST only then do we learn of this crazy 24/4-8/5 window. And then Apple quietly removes the 24th of April banner on their website and changes it to "coming soon".
This is misrepresentation plain and simple and no one but Apple would be allowed to get away with it, they seem to think because they are Apple they can treat the people who are willing to hand over considerable sums of hard earned money to them this poorly? It's not acceptable.
I'm willing to accept that demand has perhaps been higher than they anticipated (but if this is true then what are they playing at by starting to ship the second wave before the orders for the first wave have been completed?) but their lack of openness about this entire affair is what gets to me. They know EXACTLY where every single one of us sits on their list, where every single watch is and exactly when we will be receiving our watches (down to the hour) and yet you speak to one of their advisors and they are as clueless, if not more so, than you!
And people will say "yes but they gave you the 24/4-8/5 delivery window so you can't get upset" well let's not forget that the majority of us who pre-ordered did so in the belief that we were pre-ordering for 24th deliveries (BECAUSE APPLE TOLD US SO).
This is a spectacular mess Apple have created and it's not like they didn't have ample time to prepare and get it right.
If any other company had done this there would be very serious questions asked of their management.
I've ordered a pink 38mm in UK and still nothingand my delivery was 24/4-8/5 my order went through at 8:03 in UK
I'm honestly thinking they didn't get ANY pink watches in the first batch which is really disappointing for Apple and makes me really upset with them. Why should I stay up late, preorder right away and then not be able to get my watch on launch day? I have not heard of one person with a pink who has had any movement on it.
Nope. I ordered at 12:02 and got my email at 12:03 PST, same watch. I am honestly thinking they did not get ANY pinks in for launch day. If I knew that was going to be the case I would have ordered a completely different color and just bought a pink band.

Order confirmation received at 2:03 (cst).when i pre-ordered mine and got the date 24/4 i was so excited , and the apple store its self told me i would get it on launch day. ive heard nothing from apple now , apart from a email i got last night saying delivery date of 24/4-8/5
I pre-ordered my 42mm stainless steel with white sports band on 4/10 at 12:06am PDT.
My order has been showing as "preparing for shipment" for 4 days now !!
No change to my order. I'd expect a shipping confirmation by now
Anybody pre-ordered this watch and has a shipping confirmation already ??
I did.
I just got my shipping email (3:40 am eastern). I was charged for my watch around 6:30 pm yesterday.
My watch is shipping from PA and I live in New England.
I also did not get that email about the guided tours.

I ordered about 12.30pm on the 10th even though my order says 'preparing for dispatch' it then says Dispatched: June - so I don't know what's happening!
ive just been on apple chat , and they said i will not be getting mine tomorrow as my order just says processing, im very very upset with apple as my order went through at 8.03 am and confirmation email was recived at 8.05am

, but they can deliver anywhere in the uk next day , the assistant said they can only see what we can .Is false hope better than no hope??
I'm not saying that it will be the same this time around for you, but the last time I pre-ordered was for my iPhone 6 (when I was living in Australia). I didn't have any payments taken, or any shipping confirmations right up until the night before the launch date and I'd resigned myself to missing out...and then they all came through at the same time (like some one took a block of the data update processes) and it shipped on launch day and was in my hands by 10am. It may be false hope but you never know!!

My iPhone 6 still showed 'processing' for several hours after it had been delivered (in the UK) on day one .... so I wouldn't throw too much weight on the status online at a busy time like this.
Unfortunately not - I've been told that it should be delivered by TNT but who knows
