update

So, quick update to my above post.

Been charged for two watches, both show preparing but neither show shipped.

Although there DO appear to be two UPS tracking numbers on the UPS site and both show delivery by Friday 15:00 PST..

In the Bay Area, CA.

My 42MM SG Sport is nowhere to be found. I think anyone with that watch and band choice is NOT getting it this Friday.

so, if you're online still shows preparing for shipment, you can try the UPS trick now and you'll probably find the tracking info that will be updated on the apple site today

Does anyone know why we have not seen any confirmations being sent for the pink sport watch

All I know is they told me I won't get mine , just stuck at processing , despite being given the 24/4 slot for delivery
I'm so disappointed , mine was the pink 38mm sport

42mm SG Sport - 3:04 EST confirmation email
38mm SG Sport - 3:05 EST confirmation email

Live in Virginia and am still Processing on both ...

I am in Virginia as well.

42mm SG Sport Black band - 3:04 EST Confirmation email - Still Processing
38mm Sport Blue band - 3:40 EST Confirmation - Shipped (UPS) and have tracking number.

Let me know if your status changes.

Why was it so hard to make the 42mm Stainless Steel with black sports band? I completed my order 2 minutes after launch with a 4/24-5/8 ship window. I live within hours of two major UPS/FedEx shipping hubs. Yet I still have not been charged or had any kind of shipping notification. I have read post of people in Germany who ordered hours after I did getting ship notices for the same model.:mad::mad:

So did any of the black stainless models ship over night in the U.S, My White sport shipped at 3:02 and is in PA. Although Apple told me that I could expect my watch to come fedex, I received tracking for UPS. A little disappointing as UPS delivers towards 2pm and Fedex towards 10am, but I won't complain, just happy I am receiving tomorrow. Hope everyone gets their shipping info today :)

I'm waiting for my black stainless steel. No charge. No status change :(

Totally feel your pain ordered my black ss bsb right after you and still nothing. Would have thought getting my order in so early I would have gotten one tomorrow but doesn't look like that will happen. Waited this long guess it isn't that big a deal.

Hmm, well there is still hope for you, though I wouldn't bank on a delivery tomorrow. But I did see one post on either this forum of someone who said they were charged, and status changed from processing, to preparing, to shipped all within two hours last night. I think that was in the UK though, so it was like 4am here Eastern time.

Out of curiosity, do many of you get this hysterical and vitriolic over other Apple launches? I remember the iPhone 6 launch and things were done in the same way. Some people who ordered early got on launch day, others who ordered late got it later than launch day, there never seemed to be so much confusion among users.

The only difference here seems to be that some models are shipping faster than others. This is obviously due to the fact that some models are less popular than others. I get that there seems to be some sort of delay, especially around the black sport band itself, but you don't honestly expect Apple to acknowledge this do you? One of the most secretive companies out there?

For goodness sake, they told you 4/24-5/8, so how are so many of you losing your minds? Is sheer excitement just blinding otherwise rational grown men and women?

There are going to be soooo many people with black sport bands too. Kind of makes me happy I got the white, although I am pretty sure that was the second most popular color. However, it will be no time until there are good quality third party bands and I will probably swap our for something different. I have a good feeling the white is going to get dirty, especially from running in the woods.

Not the waiting part that is frustrating. It's the getting my order done @ 3:04AM EDT that's frustrating and not getting it at launch.

Also, yes I believe if you received the email from apple telling you that they are working to get you your watch as fast as possible, then you probably are excluded from the Friday delivery. I haven't seen anyone who has a tracking number get that email, but who knows, Still a lot of day left for a package that is going out with Next Day Air shipping.

Getting dirty, I didn't think of that. I wonder if they clean easy? Wondering if I can just take it off the watch and scrub it clean?

I can understand your frustration. I would be upset if I wasn't getting mine too. I don't know what to say though either. Apparently the black was the bees knees of the apple watch.

Yea I dont know. It was the first thing I thought of. Apparently, Fleuroelastemar (or however the hell you spell it) is suppose to be durable and not get dirty easy, but I heard that **** before with tons of different products. Hopefully it is true, but Apple is pretty good at taking normal materials and using fancy words to make them sound special and unique, when really, it is just rubber with a few different molecules to make the name different.

I didn't think many people would have ordered the black stainless steel being the most expensive one of the stainless steel models so I thought I was going to be ok.

The weird thing for me is that the black band models seem to be the most popular, but almost no one is getting them on day one. You would think that if a large percentage of the watches ordered had black bands that a lot of people would get them right away with a lot of people also having to wait. But almost no one is getting it right away. Strange

Yeah, I guess we will find out soon. Maybe the magic eraser will clean it, that thing will clean anything.

I think excited to get it is more descriptive. People calling apple and complaining are a different story. Like you said the delivery date is April 24th through May 8th can't get mad at Apple since they haven't exactly let anyone down since May 8th still hasn't hit... Hell April 24th hasn't even hit :)
