Has anyone checked the underside of the CAD models to see if the optical windows have changed?? Or maybe won’t show up?

Look at CAD images for many products, they don't really look great ever. You need to see the actual product to decide.

As a triathlete I hope that this new Apple Watch plays well with other platforms, like Training Peaks. The main reason I have a Garmin is so that my coach can send me workouts and then track detailed results. Currently that's not possible on an Apple Watch.

If Apple is serious about targeting athletes it needs to get the software right, not the hardware.

The hardware still matters, the AW is atrocious at detecting HR changes in a HIIT workout, although this may be endemic to any wrist based sensor.

I'll be interested in the bezel size, with the curved glass they could hide a lot of the bezel. With a flat face the bezel will be much more noticeable, hopefully they will keep it minimized to get the most screen space they can. Looks interesting otherwise, but the major clincher for me will be battery life and if it can keep up with the 3+ day battery life of Samsung's 5 pro.
