Apple Watch Series 2 Pre-Orders! Shipping Estimates, Order Time and Everything Pre-Order

I'm with you times two. I pre-ordered iPhone 7 Plus 256GB x 2, 42mm Hermes Single Tour and a 38mm Ceramic on Friday night. Since then,, canceled the 38mm Ceramic for a 38mm Hermes Single Tour for the wife.
Any other Hermes pre-orders? I had trouble checking out for the iPhone orders and didn't place the Apple Watch orders until near 12:30 AM Pacific. I ask because the 42mm Hermes Single Tour showed 9/30 delivery. Then I canceled the 38mm Ceramic and re-ordered the 38mm Hermes Single Tour late Friday evening. It still had the same date as the first 42mm. I know their technically different watches, but I was wondering if any Hermes were available before 9/30. I read on Macworld that Hermes was 9/23. I was initially surprised when I thought it slipped to 9/30. I think 9/30 might be the first available date now. I also the noticed the deployment buckle (which I really wanted) is not even available.

Very jealous! I ordered two, a 42mm silver aluminum and a 38mm gold aluminum. The entire order pre-charged to my card and then also yesterday the 38mm was pre-charged again on it's own.
Currently only the 42mm says "Preparing for Shipment" but nothing yet when I search via the Apple Order number less the last two digits on UPS. Anyone else in the same boat?
I realize all this crazy over-obsessiveness over tracking our orders is pretty ridiculous and some people probably would say a waste of time, but this it the fun of it all right?

Yep. My 42mm gold aluminum is still preparing for shipment. My Amex has not been re-charged. There's nothing on UPS for me. And there's nothing new on my Apple Support Profile. So far the watches I've seen ship started out in Japan. If they had some already staged in the U.S., they might be shipping those particular watches later in order to time arrival for Friday. Just speculation.
And yes. The obsessive tracking is part of the fun.
I have a W41 order number, and I have no action yet. So I'm assuming that the starting point will be closer than Japan.
Mine start with W49 and still say processing. My credit card was charged over the weekend.

Were you able to waive the signature requirement directly from the ups tracking page? I don't get home Friday until about 2 hours after their normal run and want them to just leave it (with it being iPhone day too deliveries will be running later than normal anyway).
Strangely I did not do any shopping authorization changes. I might have a default setting in My UPS (if that's an option).
Silver aluminium S2 with white sport band here. Ordered early enough for an initial launch delivery, but paid using Barclays finance who took until the afternoon to get the confirmation to apple so I lost my launch slot for a 3-7 Oct one
I ordered 3:05am ET for 1 42mm and 1 38mm and only just this morning I as able to use the order number method to find that my UPS shipping label has been created. Apple order status page shows preparing for shipment and nothing in Apple support profile yet. Happy tracking everyone!

The reference number matches my Apple Watch order. The status still hasn't changed in the Apple Store app.

Mine has departed Suzhou as well. I scheduled it for pick-up, since I work near the UPS hub. It says that it should be available for pick-up first thing Friday morning.
I ordered Apple Watch 42 Gold Aluminum Case with Cocoa Sport Band at 3:12 on launch day. Got the same message of "6-8 days and Sep 26-28". Just went to Best Buy and ordered the same Watch and for an extra $12 they say they will deliver on Sep 16 - other option was free delivery on Sep 19.
I have a W58 order number (placed around 5 minutes after 3 AM EST) for the 42mm Space Grey Aluminum with Black Woven Nylon Band. Delivery date still showing the 26th to 28th of September, sadly.
Do what I did in#148 - also order from Best Buy. If it comes on Friday you can cancel the Apple order
