The SG nike 42mm with black sports loop. (Side note I noticed the sports loop ones are only available with LTE)
That ones a little bit harder to get then the 42mm SG LTE with the regular Nike band. I see lots of those available all over on istocknow.

For those still looking, best buy got the first batch of the Nikes with the loop bands. They are sold out in most places right now, but include BB when searching. I’d recommend purchasing a pickup from apple as their 9 Nov date is only an estimate & the stores often get them in stock earlier. Since the pickup is available now, you’d want to be in queue as that will keep the store stock at zero for a bit now. You can verify at istocknow as mentioned above if you want to wait until it is in stock.

Unfortunately I want to use my apple gift cards I got from my friend so I would have to wait until my pick up is available. Hopefully some miracle happens and it comes earlier.

I think it will. Apple TV reported mid November locally, then they got a shipment in last week. Just make sure you have your watch purchased for pickup now. I’m assuming it goes by who purchased first. Also, Apple didnt send any 42mm with loops to their stores yet, so there’s hope. I also always found it faster to pick up vs pre-order.

When you say pick up now do you mean just pick up at a store?

This. Was totally shocked and in awe to find my Nike + S3 LTE at my local Best Buy. Ordered through the app for in store pickup.

Order through the Apple Store app and select the pickup option at your local Apple Store or one you can access.

Gutted ordered my watch with black sport loop on 18/9 and delivers 25-31/10. Had one in the Liverpool store last night and went to reserve this morning and it’s gone. Looks like I’m going to have to wait. What are the chances it will come early any ideas?

I preordered mine from Verizon a day or two after ordering went live... on 9/16.

It shipped Thurs and has been sitting at the Fedex location the next town over all weekend.

What's really awesome is delivery issues are the least of my concerns. I live in a 400 unit subdivision and all deliveries go to the leasing office. Never have to worry about something being left at the door.

If you go through Apple's website, start the purchase process & you'll see "Pickup" & "Ships" underneath "Add to Bag." As you go through your purchase, you'll select to pick up & select the store you want instead of shipping it to you. When it arrives, they'll slap a sticker with your name to it & contact you letting you know it's ready. It may be ready sooner than the date indicated. Every iPhone purchase I made since 2015 has been this way, but I wait until the night of release as pickup is not activated until that night. As soon as the stock hits the stores, they update it & boom, I'm one of the first to get them, despite not pre-ordering.

Got mine yesterday. I forgot how much I missed the apple watch. I will say the battery life is very impressive compared to the first. I used it to track my sleep and it was at 99% when I woke up. If I forgot to put my old one on the charger it would be at 60% in the am.

The one thing I wish they would add it some better color options on the nike faces. I'm a big orange person and they don't even have that as an option. It isn't the end of the world but would be a nice option.

I know they are overpriced but I will be getting a platinum nike band. That thing looks great in person. I couldn't deal with aluminum look though.

I got mine yesterday as expected.

First thing I did was go to the place to get the Zagg glass screen protector put on it... that protects the face as well as the aluminum sides. I get there and they tell me "the series 2 protector isn't compatible with series 3."

What? Aren't the watches the same? They told me 2-3 weeks before the series 3 protectors are ready. I'm exploring other options right now. I can't wear this watch to work without a screen protector... I work in a metal fab shop and scratching the watch is a risk I'm not gonna take right now.

After reading the "72 hours first scratch" thread I don't think I'm being too paranoid.

AppleCare+ might be a good investment for you.

It could very well be. I've never gotten AppleCare before... because I've always had the insurance thru Verizon for damage/theft.

My concern working around metal all day is bumping into something and scratching the watch. The glass protector I'm talking about would go a long way towards preventing that. I use the same glass protector on my iPhone and iPad screens. The feel isn't any different than the glass on the device which makes it a whole lot better than a film protector... and it's invisible.

Well if your line of work has metal, it will be best to give Apple care+

Totally on your wavelength and in agreement. Since the iPhone 6 I've only had glass on my phones and iPads. It makes a huge difference.

I tend to bump into things. The economics (cost vs benefits for screen replacement) on the watch, for me, were a no-brainer. FWIW I have not purchased AppleCare+ for my phones or iPads. The watch is just too vulnerable for me.

I have a series 2 Zagg screen protector my Series 3 right now! It’s the same exact screen protector. Doesn’t effect my lte or anything! Go get your screen protector!

I'm sure this has been asked many, many times, but is the Nike+ model the exact same as the normal Series 3 just with extra faces and an exclusive band? Strongly considering getting that model for those things and turning off the Nike stuff (if possible)

Yep, exclusive band or loop, exclusive watch face with compilations. Everything else matches the S3.

Awesome, will definitely order that version then (Space Grey with the black sport loop). Thanks. Love the square black packaging too.
