CEO John Legere has confirmed it will not use 3G and The Apple Watch will use 4G LTE speeds. The Article was updated at the bottom to confirm what he stated earlier this evening.

I ordered a space gray 42mm Apple Watch with a gray sport band and I also ordered a black sport loop band. The watch is preparing for shipment and I already received the band. The black band is very nice. It has little specks of various colors in it. I will for sure be swapping bands and saving the gray one for later. Sneaky how they didn't offer the black loop band with any watches. Im sure they knew it would create more sales leaving it as an add on.

My guess is these are coming to us straight from China, thats why we already see movement.

Speaking of T Mobile, I called them today regarding the monthly cellular fee and I was told you have to be on a T Mobile ONE plan with Autopay to only pay $10. And you only get 3 months free if you buy it from T Mobile. If you are on a different plan, you will have to choose from a 2gb up to a 22gb plan with the 2gb plan costing $10. Im not confident I got 100% accurate info.

You May not have received the most accurate information, as it seems T-Mobile is rolling this information out earlier today.

After my credit card is showing the pending charge twice for one watch I do now have shipping info in my UPS. I'm assuming the first pending charge will now drop off and the last will post.
 
Am I the only one with a UPS tracking number? Ordered at 3:02 eastern time...

good call. i just checked on the my ups app and sure enough there is a delivery listed from Tech-Full Computer in Suzhou China marked as Order Processed Ready for UPS. Scheduled delivery for 9/22.

Hahahaha…dream on. That’s what they told me about the iPhone 8 Plus I ordered online from Apple for 9/22 in-store pickup late last night (wee hrs. of the a.m. 9/15), and that my Air Pods were “available for pickup today” at my chosen Apple Store. Then got a “we’re processing your order” e-mail at 3:25 am CDT. Got to the store 6 pm. and every item in my order was listed as “we have received your order and payment information and will begin processing shortly.” Tried to cancel the AirPods so I could buy them on-site, but apparently nothing in an order can be edited or cancelled until it’s finished processing. Apple Customer Service phone rep admitted servers are “swamped” and he had no idea when any orders would process, much less ship.

Apple had experienced these very problems with nearly every major rollout, for years. They should have anticipated this. There is NO excuse!
 
Mine shows processing for sept 22 delivery. Card already charged. Ordered space grey with black band sport LTE
 
A lot of inventory just became available for in store pick up. I got a little drunk last night and fell asleep at 2:02 AM Chicago time waiting for the site to open. Full bottle of Wine did it. Stainless steal was sold out for shipping and in store pick up when I checked this morning at 6AM and through the entire day. Checked again right now and all stainless steel available for pick up in Chicago land area. Seems like some other models also became available.


Had originally settled for aluminum because it was only model available for launch in the colors I was looking for. I'm thinking about shelling out for the Hermes band as I'm now going on third version of apple watch so I'll just keep using band on future models. Ordered both the black stainless and stainless I think the black looks off with the red dot but the normal stainless actually looks nice.
 
My watches moved into preparing for shipment earlier today and after checking the UPS website and searching by reference, it looks like they've both got tracking numbers as well. I plan on calling my local hub once there is movement closer to Friday and having them held there for pickup on Friday morning.

To those that don't want to wait on their UPS driver all day to bring their watches, you can do the same, just call your local hub and request that they're held there for pickup by you.
 
I finally put in my order yesterday evening and still have a delivery date of the 22nd! So different to all the years of iPhone pre orders where you have to get it in within a few seconds of release or you end up waiting weeks!

I went for a 42mm silver Al in the end. I've had a SG series 0 for the last year and a half and fancied a change, though by the number of people on here that are going for SG rather than silver, I'm now doubting whether its the right choice. Ah well, i guess i can compare the two for a while and then return it if its not for me.

I also picked up a couple of reproduction bands from Amazon; a replica Milanese Loop, that I've had on my series 0 as my favourite band, but its showing some signs of wear now, so time for a new one. And also a red and black Nike style band for when I'm feeling like something a bit more striking.

Really looking forward to the upgrade in speed, waterproofing and OS4 :-D
 
Logged in at 8.03am UK, placed SS 42mm Milanese S3 LTE into basket and it instantly showed at 25-27 Sept delivery, which i thought was strange. I am happy to wait the extra 3 days, but did anyone else experience this?

Yeah, I've tried that too + entering my telephone number. No results found.
