When you order at Apple what carrier ships you the package?

If i remember well, with my mbp Apple sent it from china to Germany I think by ups then TNT pick it up and bring it to Spain.

If your default company at your location is ups maybe is the reason why you can track by reference on ups

Im in Canada, just outside of Toronto... ETA is September 25th, anyone around me have a release day ETA? Just curious! :)

My order went through at 9 minutes past the hour after the store going live, and I'm still "order in progress".

Just another data point for anyone curious:

SS S3 LTE (white sport band) ordered at 0301, confirmation email received at 0303 (EST)

Ordered from the Apple Store (via the app)

Currently: Preparing for shipment

so.. maybe it's the same thing as late 2016 macbook pros, US people got their new mbp 1 week earlier than the EU people.

mine is for delivery on 22 sept. and still on preparing to ship state.
Most likely yes. That's how it always is... :p

I don't think so. I'm in the US and my 42mm Space gray alum with olive sport loop (set for Sept 22 delivery) has yet to go to preparing.

I think at this point it's really about where it's shipping from and the model. Apple is usually very good about making their delivery timeframes. So if it says Sept 22, you should plan on the 22nd. So I'm not too worried even though mine is still not at preparing.

The difference between EU and US orders is that most of the time, the EU people don't get any tracking info until their product is in one of the warehouses in the EU (eg. Prague, CZ). US people can track their orders right from the beginning, we can't.

it's what i think. maybe "preparing to ship" involves a trip from china to one of these warehouses and then it will shange its status to shipped when leaving the warehouse..

in that case i would like to have all the tracking info as the US people :(

Everyone talking about preparing for shipping. Anyone else order it to an Apple Store??

I ordered mine to be picked up at the Apple store. Unfortunately I guess this means I can’t get all excited about seeing “preparing for shipment” or getting a tracking number as I’m sure all the stuff gets sent by Apple en mass to the same store for the 22nd. Probably the next notice will be on the 22nd that it’s ready to pick up at the time I scheduled upon ordering.

Guess I’ll just have to live vicariously through everyone else and watch your tracking numbers :)

Logged in at 8.03am UK, placed SS 42mm Milanese S3 LTE into basket and it instantly showed at 25-27 Sept delivery, which i thought was strange. I am happy to wait the extra 3 days, but did anyone else experience this?

I ordered the SS 42mm S3 LTE with the white sports band and had the email at 8:02am, yet my delivery date is the 9th to the 16 Oct :(

Finally managed to get the horrible UPS app set up. Even though Apple still says preparing for shipment, UPS shows tracking number and departure scan out of Suzhou.

This is for a grey/black 42 aluminum ordered at 12:01 PST

I just pre-orderd the Nike LTE version, though for some reason Apple is staggering the release of the Apple Watch and Nike version. The good news about that, is it gives me more time to confirm that I should follow through on the purchase.

What reference number did you use to bring it up, or did it auto populate with my choice?

Congrats on deciding to jump in after all!

42mm White Ceramic S3 LTE, ordered at 7:31 AM Eastern time seems to have shipped (found it by tracking by reference)
