Apple Watch Series 3 Pre-Order Thread

Weird thing with my 2 orders: they are the same model watch with different color bands but the same material. One order UPS says weighs 0.70 kgs and the other weighs 3.00 kgs. I found the tracking numbers by using the order number as a reference so I know I’m looking at the right info but still strikes me as odd.
 
For those who did in Apple Store Pickup on 9/22, have your credit cards been charged for your Apple watches? Mine still hasn’t, hopefully by tomorrow?

September 22nd delivery here and still no signs of life.
 
I ordered a 42mm Silver Nike+ GPS/LTE with the Pure Platinum/Black band. I'm upgrading from my Series 0 SS 42mm. Delivery window starts 10/13.
 
If anyone is interested you can have the package be picked up at your local UPS distribution center. I just did since I’ll be at work and the center is 3 mins from my job. You can do it right from the ups app.

Will that delay the shipping at all?
 
I missed the early preorders. I just ordered the Hermes & it ships in 3-4 weeks. I wish it was sooner....

Same. The fact that the shipping info is not even available makes me think that they already have the watches in the backroom at the store. They are just making us wait like the big dog waits for the ok sign with the hot dog on its nose before he can eat it.
 
I ordered two Apple Watches, one for me and one for my wife. Separate payments. Got confirmation email at 3:02 and 3:03 am my time. Both 9/22 delivery. One watch has departed Shanghai and the other one is still in ‘Order Processed: Ready for UPS’ mode.

This is my trick, too. My local UPS center is right on my way to work so I just stop and pick my items up first thing in the morning. I also don't have to anxiously wait for the UPS driver all day this way.

This is absolutely one of my favorite times of the year...the "preorder thread month." Seriously, it almost approaches the excitement of Christmas. Flight tracking, constant order update sharing, posted threads just for shipping status updates. I enjoy seeing other people's excitement as much as I like having my own. I remember the first Watch came out and no one had ever seen one IRL, it was kind of magical. I met a lot of cool people in this thread, and now it's 3 years later and still so much fun. I'll admit I'm not a flight tracker but I'm going to get into it this year. Once all the watches are shipped and received everything dies down; I'm confident mine will be here on the 22nd so I love soaking up the excitement until then.

An hour back my card through Apple Pay got charged. However order status still same and nothing by reference on FedEx and ups

I’ve noticed the same thing. My orders are different.
1- 42mm SG Sport loop LTE
1-38mm GA Sport loop LTE

But the weight shouldn’t be that much of a difference.

I couldn’t find my order by reference. It just showed up finally in the ups app.
