Apple Watch Series 3 Pre-Order Thread

My first AW was Series 0. I’ve been holding out for the rumored LTE. Now it’s on the way from China.
I’m glad Apple has kept the same watch band system. My wife and I will keep these Series 3 watches for a few years or until Apple makes a major change in form of the AW.

I agree, the fact that the watch band has remained the same since the beginning is huge.

Is everyone's orders slated for the 22nd now preparing for dispatch or en route. My delivery is scheduled for the 25th and my order is still showing as Processing so so hoping to see some movement tomorrow
 
I was finally able to track my watch through UPS today. I'm so ready to get rid of my S0 launch watch!

Are any sites taking preorders for LTE series 3 watches w/ launch date delivery, or is it 3-4 weeks backordered everywhere?
 
My order is for SS black and says it will be delivered on 9/22. It still says "order in progress" and so not all of the 9/22 deliveries have shipping info yet.

My brother & I both have orders that were processed at 2:07 AM CST. Mine has two sport watches -- gold with loop & gray with loop. He ordered gray with loop. Both say deliver on the 22nd & both are still at Order in Progress

The messed up part, though, is when I asked T-Mobile about the watch they said I would get 3 months free if I order through them. I told them I ordered through Apple and the 3 months free is an Apple offer, applicable to all carriers, regardless of whether I buy the watch through them. His reply? “If you got it from Apple then ask Apple how to get the 3 months free.”
 
I canceled my first order and placed a new one yesterday morning when store pick-up availability came back. The order is still processing but my CC was just charged. Pick-up on 09/22..... but I will most probably be unavailable so I'll have to ask the store to hold it for a week :(

Still, better than delivery, which was like 4-6 weeks out.

My Series 1 was a gift; was going to upgrade it but the guy at Best Buy said “eh; the display’s not that much better.” I feel duped! LOL!

One of my Apple Watches has arrived in Anchorage, AK. The other is still in 'Order Processed: Ready for UPS' mode.

The status change depends on where your watch is shipping from. Watches in motion now are from China and will reach a distribution center somewhere in the region of the delivery address. There they will sit until Wed or Thursday, when they will make they final push to your home.

Apple/UPS/Fedex have a contract that preclude the carrier from delivering early.

Very very rare anyone gets anything early.

All you Black Stainless Steel folks. What state is your order in? I bought two watches, but I suspect that the black SS watch that I ordered is in the Order Processed: Ready for UPS state.
 
Just checked my UPS account and it is now saying 6/20 by 6:00 PM. that'd be really cool but not holding my breath!!

Mine still says "Order in Progress Delivers 22 Sep, 2017 by Standard Shipping".

Still at "Preparing for shipment" here with a 9/22 delivery date. Im not concerned in the slightest.
 
I ordered the 38mm Silver Sport for pick up in store on Friday at 9AM. Alongside my iPhone 8+.

Had second thoughts about the size as I have large wrists. Just to be safe I also ordered a 42mm Silver Sport for pick up in store on Friday at 10AM (couldn't get a 9AM slot).

Went to a store to try them both on and the 38mm was just way too tiny on my wrist, cancelled the 38mm and still plan to pick up the 42mm.

Just checked and I can still order for delivery on Friday so thinking of cancelling the store pick up and just having it delivered. The iPhone I want it also available for delivery on Friday.

The only reason for me going to store is to check in and say hi to my business rep but I'm not sure I can be bothered as I really want to wash my car and it's one or the other! Sad I know...
