I almost completely forgot about the watches being available for preorder today. I got one just in the nick of time at 3:00am CST. One hour after launch.

Ordered a S3 + LTE 42mm black aluminum with black sports band.

Delivery 9/22. Whew.

I think I saw they stated a credit of the activation fee after 3 months.

I’m not seeing a thread for AT&T preorder so I’ll just post this here. Per chat with them, it’s $10/month access fee as long as it’s not on 2-year contract. Their website at check-out assume all are on 2-year contract, hence the $40/month fee. But it will be billed at $10 per month instead. The promo credit (total of $55) is completely different and separate and doesn’t affect your monthly access fee.

This is what the EE web site is now saying
Can I use my minutes and texts on my Apple Watch Series 3 (4G)?
You’ll be able to use your phone’s allowances from your Apple Watch Series 3 (4G) device. This means any minutes or texts used on your Apple Watch Series 3 (4G) will be deducted from your overall allowance.

Still no published cost though!

Just ordered 42mm Space Grey Sport Series 3 from EE at 08:03 UK time and was advised over the phone that Apple are working with the in their offices to ensure availability and that everything goes as smoothly as possible.

He pretty much guaranteed that I will get a 22nd Sep delivery date!

The prices are all over the EE website however, for the 42mm Sports it is £29.99 upfront then £25 per month thereafter for 24 months.

FWIW - the EE online store for iPhone and Watch Series 3 was open at 7:45 to place pre-orders so their customers in the UK had a massive advantage over everybody else!

Thanks. I didn’t want to change my plan. Thought it would effect my current plan on AT&T. So I purchased from Apple. AT&T Mobile was confusing. I will add my 2 watches to my plan for $10 each after my 9/22 delivery.

I've ordered Series 3 with Cellular, Stainless with white band, ships 2-3 weeks. I want right on it in terms of timing, and seen 2-3 weeks as soon as I got on at 8:01.

Any chances of these shipping earlier?

Well then, I'm the triplet because I just ordered the same thing, coming from S0 42mm SS with Milanese loop. I just got the white sports band this time and will swap out the bands when the S3 gets here.

Congrats on the upgrade!
I’m also upgrading from a S0 42MM stainless. This time I went with SG 42 mm sport loop LTE.

I am in Australia and it’s just after 5pm 15 September here. I just ordered a series 3 38mm silver aluminium with cellular/lte and seashell sport loop. Pick up in store on 22 September. I used the Apple store app and got through to order at about one minute past 5pm. The app is quicker - the online Apple site did not refresh for quite a few more minutes later than the app. I have had the series 1 sport on launch day and then got the series 2 last year on launch day. Looking forward to using my new toy next week. Good luck everyone!

I ordered by 3:08 stainless steel gps+ cellular 38mm will ship between oct. 6- oct.13. Was this a popular model with the soft white sport band.

Anyone order from AT&T? Ordered my 42mm Space Gray Sport a few minutes ago, and on the invoice it lists the Device Access Charge as $40. Must be a mistake. Anyone else seeing this as well?

Yeah, I got the same.. because the second e-mail is showing a separate number for the watch and considering it 2 lines. They should fix it by the time it's all sorted out and shipped.

Did anyone order last year - do shipping times ever get moved forward? I've ordered (watch was showing 22nd sept when I put it in my basket) but by the time I checked out my shipping was for the 6th October onwards and I leave the country from the 3rd. Going to leave the order for a while and see if it gets moved. I'll cancel next week if not :(

Apple will always deliver sooner than they say (unless it's launch day). You might be OK, maybe not for launch day but probs before October starts.

Ordered a 42mm Cermamic and a 42mm Hermes Deployment Buckle in Ebene. If only the X will be this easy next month lol.
Nice choices! Literally my two favorites this year. Well done!

Ordered two S3 42mm Space Gray Apple Watch Sport watches with GPS + LTE. Email confirmation at 3:02 AM and delivers by 9/22. If all goes right this will be the first time I get something I stayed up until 3 AM for on launch day.
Congrats! It feels almost like Christmas did as a child.

Got my order in at 12:02 PST for a Stainless Steel 42mm with white sport band, upgrading from a SS S0! Delivery on September 22nd also!
That's the one I wanted, but it wasn't available through AT&T; either that, or it was just gone by the time I tried to order. AT&T's website seemed to erase each model from existence when they were sold out.

Space Black 42mm with sport band (already have SB Milanese...) ordered, UK, 2-3 weeks estimated delivery.

Clearly the SB is still the black unicorn!
I had one through AT&T in my cart, but I got into a long discussion about various things with a chat representative and lost it. It just didn't even occur to me that I hadn't secured it yet. Oh well.

Wait, so it really is $40 a month for the access fee, if you buy it on payments?

EDIT: I think I misunderstood. You mean the "old-fashioned" two-year contracts, not NEXT plans. Correct?

True, or at least that's what my chat representative said.

Yes. I meant the old 2-year contract. Installment or pay in full is $10/month per the rep in chat.

That is both what I thought and what my chat representative told me. However, no matter how I went through putting the watch into my cart it always showed a $40 per month access fee. The chat representative assured me that it would all get worked out and end up correct.

Ordered the LTE Space Gray aluminium here in the UK, arrival date 22nd Sept.

Have no idea if I can ever use the LTE bit as I'm not with EE, but thought it would be worth the gamble.

I'm in the AT&T chat and the guy is just as confused as me as to why it is showing $40/month instead of the $10

Certainly on the original launch many people had their orders dates move forward (me included). Don't know about last year's, sorry.
