Another extremely poor Apple shopping experience! LOL!

Why? I was within the Apple Store within one minute of ‘going live’ to make my pre-order purchase, went straight to my ‘favorites’ that I selected for my Apple Watch and checked out immediately with no issues. Seamless.

I had great luck getting my watch ordered on the App Store on Safari. It loaded faster then the app on my phone. I was 1/2 way through checking out when the app launched.

ordered on my iPhone through the Store App while my browser was still waiting!

Same with stainless black, the stainless must all be delayed a week for some reason. I went with aluminum this time.. was on the fence over which to get but the delay sealed the deal for me.

I know it's not a huge deal, but I'm low-key pissed (let's just say annoyed) that I had to refresh for 15 minutes (and the white page flashing to the black Almost There page didn't help my headache) while others were able to pre-order on the app (which I can't do since my phone is set to the US store and I'm in Canada at the moment...) and now I'll be waiting 2-3 weeks for it...

Stainless slipped quickly. Ordered from Best Buy with a Gift Card + Credit Card. Says it will ship by 9.21. We'll see. It took a long time for them to add the Stainless Black to their options for live ordering. Others were live right away.

I accidentally ordered two watches on launch day of the original Apple Watch. Like you, I was freaking out that I had TWO expensive purchases coming. Then, after a couple of days, I realized the Apple Watches were selling for hundreds over the purchase price on eBay. I listed my second one on Craigslist and made $200 on it.

I suggest waiting and letting it ship to you, you'll at least be able to sell it for what you paid for it and you'll probably make a little cash off of it.

Most of us planned in advance and changed our store location to avoid this problem. At least now you’ll know for future!

Same here, tried to order as soon as it went live, for pickup at my local Apple Store (Sindelfingen), no chance at all, it’s immediately sold out.

So, I decided I will wait until there is actual stock available (I’m happy to wait). Would have been nice to get one now, but, yeah.
