I live in New Jersey and I have 2 Apple stores near me and went to the store in Delaware. No one there had seen one in the wild other than mine. Especially the SSSB. Many of the staff I have talked to have July ship dates. They did get a sweet discount of HALF off the prices. I think this only applied to store employees because I mentioned it to Apple phone staff who hadn't been offered that.

I have had a few people notice and ask me about it. The teens I work with have ALL noticed and are haters!! (okay I'm going to hell for showing it off to them and reveling in the jealousy!!)
All APPLE employees were offered. Nobody that is contracted.

Some phone staff are contracted. Some are actual Apple employees.

Yes it must have been the contracted employees. Made me want to be Apple staff for a while, but I think 2 watches are enough and God knows that I wouldn't get my check I would just be running a tab there!!;)

i haven't spotted one yet and nobody has asked about mine either although people have awkwardly glared at it.

My mother said to me the other day that a bunch of kids and their mother all asked about her, she was shocked someone even noticed it to which i responded "have you turned on your TV lately? a commercial runs like every 5 seconds!' haha

When they do notice it they always ask me what it can do. Kinda annoying really as I never know how to demo it properly...

I found the best way to answer this question is say "What do you want it to do?" Then they'll say send a text or something and you just do exactly that.

That's lucky right there!!! You should buy a lottery ticket.

I have yet to see another out in the wild, but I am from a small town. Honestly, most people around here I come in contact with doesn't know what an Apple Watch is.

London on the Northern Line (Underground).

Looked like the silver 42MM with white sports band.

I work 2 minutes from the Apple Store in Covent Garden and haven't seen any around the area. IT manager here also said that he has only seen one in the wild.

I'll be the first in the office to get one if it arrives by the 2/6.

Yesterday afternoon, in the tube in London. A very chic looking business lady was sporting the 38mm stainless steel modern buckle with soft pink band.

I haven't seen even one besides my own (small town in Michigan). When I went in the Apple Store last weekend, I paid for the band I bought with Apple Pay from the watch. The clerk was thoroughly impressed and said he hadn't taken a payment that way yet. Heh. Michigan. Gotta love it.

I've worn my Apple Watch at work and on the go, and nobody has asked me anything about it at all.

I've got the space gray sports model. It's just black - nothing blingy or obvious. I like it that way. It's a device for ME, and I'm glad I'm not distracted by people wanting to look at it.

People ask me about mine all the time. I was having some physical therapy and it seems like all the therapists and many of the patients wanted to know about it. To be honest, I got a little tired of talking about it. I used to wear the Milanese Loop, which I think made it more obviously an Apple Watch. Now I've switched to the Classic Buckle, and I don't think it stands out as much. That might be a good thing.

Haven't seen anyone wearing one yet & no one has asked me about mine. The people that do know I have it believe I spent too much on it (especially my husband lol).

I've only seen one! I was out at a restaurant sipping on a scotch when I noticed people at a table across the room were taking self timed selfies (or so I thought) but then I realised they were controlling the camera with the watch! Doh, of course. From a distance it looked like a SS Classic in black. Maybe a 42mm he was a big dude!

I just saw 5 Apple Watches at Disneyland. 4/5 of the watches were sport. The other one was a SS with classic buckle. Also I saw a SS with Link Bracelet yesterday. Finally I saw maybe 7 Apple Store employees with Apple Watches at the Apple Store. (And mine :))

Went to see Avengers today with my Apple Watch on. Yes, this was an issue. I had to turn it off because it would keep flashing on and off as I moved my arm.

Atypical usage though so it's not a flaw of the device.
Why didn't you simply eat your corn with your other hand...... seems like a very easy and very logical way to not have the watch turning on repetitively.

I don't look at what others are wearing so couldn't be bothered to noticed if they were wearing an apple watch. Not sure why others do look..... I guess some of us have better things to be looking at like family, nature or pretty much anything else other than what's on another's wrist.

I have had a few "how do you like your watch" questions to which I answer "just fine".

Haven't seen any, then again when I'm out I don't look at people's wrists
Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one.

Saw my first in the Wild dropping my daughter at school, one of the other Dads was giving a demo to two other people, who were very interested.

I just held up my wrist and told him I would love to stop and compare notes, but I had a walking workout going, and I just had to keep going to keep the heart rate up. He just nodded and smiled.

(Rings before bros)o_O

I haven't seen a single one in LA, and I work in the Entertainment business.
