I was in SFO recently on business and saw about 3 people wearing the watch.
 
First time seeing it today. As I got up from the chair after getting a haircut, I received a text message. I ignored it and when I looked up, I saw my barber checking his wrist, too. He looked over at me and saw that we both had the 42mm black sport.
 
i have seen one today as well, it was a guy next to me in the traffic jam in YellowStone national park.
It was a SS with white band.
 
I bought something at Office Depot using my Apple Watch. Even when I use my iPhone to purchase something just about anywhere, I have to explain to the clerk what I am doing as they have never seen anyone pay by phone before.

I really thought I would have some explaining to do when using my watch, but the clerk was unblinking. When I looked up at him, I noticed he had an Apple watch on. That explained it all.
 
I guess I was the first sighting for a neighbor . I was going up the elevator with my arms full of groceries when my phone rang. You should have seen his face when I answered on the watch ! Priceless ;-)))
 
i've seen ONE and that was in the apple store on an employee.... so for the purpose of this poll i voted NO since i don't consider an apple employee "in the wild".

plus that was one week and one day after launch.... i do tend to look and have been surprised not to see at least one or two people! i thought sure i'd see some at the outlet mall.....

i answered my watch in home depot the other day.... i didn't look around to see if i got funny looks! lol!
 
I have not seen any AW's here (Finland). Apart from my own watch, that is. I know there are a few.
 
My magic numbers seems to be 3, saw 3 at once, including mine at Best Buy on Sunday, we all hung out and discussed our watches. It was the first time I've seen a 42mm stainless besides mine
 
I saw the first Apple watch in the wild today. It was 42 with black band and watch seem black or dark grey. It was on the London underground. I have seen them in the store and thought they were attractive but on someone's wrist and switched off with a black face it just looked stupid.

Saw Jeb Bush on CNN at some town hall... Looked like he was wearing a AW, dark color (SG or SB)
 
I have yet to see anyone wearing an Apple Watch. I guess I've been shopping at the wrong places though... I haven't been to Best Buy or Starbucks since the watch came out. :D:D:D
 
I was at Walt Disney World last week and tried to keep an eye out for the watch. I seen 3, one with a white sports band, one with a black sports band and one with a case and aftermarket band. I used the watch a lot for purchases with Apple Pay in the parks. Every time I used Apple Pay it surprised the person ringing me up. Every person said it was the first time they have seen the watch.

Wonder if you saw me and the wife. She has a white band sport, I've got the Space Gray sport and we spent last week at WDW. I saw one maybe. We both used ApplePay for shopping and food. Worked great. The restaurants at Epcot didn't seem to be ready though so I just used my Magic Band for dinner.
 
The first week AW shipped I noticed the cashier at the grocery story w/ a white Sport. Since then I haven't noticed anyone w/ one. But I also haven't looked hard either.
 
2 in Cranberry Township, PA (North of Pittsburgh) last Saturday, 1 SG WSB (Sports Clips) and 1 SS custom band (Dick's Sporting Goods). I used passbook at Dick's sporting goods for loyalty card, the cashier said it was first she had seen in the store.
