Saw a customer at our hotel on a recent trip in Paris + an Apple Store employee at Galeries Lafayette. Also saw a guy on TV at Radio-Canada in Montreal.

Saw a woman with a blue sports band at target.

Also, a little girl asked me "is that an Apple Watch?" and she seemed really interested in it. Nice to see it's appealing to younger people.

Wow. The last one I saw in the wild was STILL about the last week of April, as I said in an earlier post to this thread. This surprises me because my train commute is a sea of iPhones owned by people who appear to be the target demographic. That said, I'm actually a bit relieved that I'm not riding on the the train with a dozen watch fiddlers.

Seen two in MK (in the UK), one walking through the shopping centre and I sat next to a guy in the cinema who had the 38mm Sport.

I really haven't been looking out for watches but noticed someone wearing one in Carluccio's in my local shopping centre last week. The restaurant was pretty empty so limited people-watching opportunities and the white band was quite noticeable (I think the watch was the stainless steel one). Have seen loads on Apple Store employees, but that's not really in the wild.

My mine (silver sport with white band, now sometimes worn with a Milanese loop) has been noticed by colleagues (one of whom also has one); an optometrist commented on it yesterday but other than that I'm not aware of people noticing it. I'm seldom awake enough to watch spot on the tube though; perhaps I'll try next week.

I am in Disney World right now and have seen a bunch here (also mentioned by someone else in a separate thread). Mostly Sport models but also a decent amount of SS, one even with the link band.

Was having a drink after work yesterday when someone asked me if I had the time. I flipped my Space Grey Sports watch and showed her the time. (I was using the Solar face, btw.) She read the time, thanked me, and walked away without commenting on the watch. It was like she didn't notice anything other than the time, at all.

I've come across two... One guy was wearing a 42mm Black sport watch with a white sport band... actually looked pretty good... also saw another lady with a 38mm silver sport with white band... yet to see another Stainless steel like myself tho.

Finally saw one in the wild today, guy at our little ones swim class had the space grey sport. Don't think he noticed my wife's SS and mine was in the locker out of harms way.

Quite surprised it's taken me so long

Since I am so eagerly awaiting the arrival of my own watch, I've taken up the habit of staring at everyone's wrists as I walk by them, in the gym and wherever. I haven't seen a single apple watch yet... I suppose that is not too unexpected, but I was curious: have you guys spotted any of these in the wild?

Interesting, till now, I never looked at someones hand for their watch choice. Only ones I have seen so far is people in and around the Apple Store. I think people just don't look at other peoples wrists as they go by

I was a watch guy way before the apple watch, so I always check what people are wearing. It's funny How mutch you can learn about a person if you know what they are wearing

That's an odd way of telling someone the time. Why wouldn't you just look at your watch and read it to her?

I am doing an event for a car mfr that puts me in a diff town every other day and talking to hundreds of customers every day. I have seen at least one apple watch every day on a wrist, and a few couples that have them. Almost all are sport bands. The response is always the same: they like theirs, and I remark I like mine. Many others ask daily if I like my watch, and I respond that it reduces the time I need to look at my phone. To this day, I have never been asked how much $, or had anyone eye roll at me or get the least bit snarky.

Because she was standing right at my shoulder, I could flip my watch to show her the time with the same amount of effort as it would have taken for me to read the time myself. So then, I saved myself the effort of having to say the time out loud. Also, I have a speech disability, so if I can do something without talking, I tend to prefer that.

Ahh, that makes sense.

I saw the first two beginning of May and have seen a few more since then. Mostly SS watches with sports band. Today at the mall and especially Apple Store there were a few more.
Last week at a business event, someone at the lunch table noticed my watch. He wanted to see what it does. After I showed him a few things, he ordered one online before lunch was over.

Well, I finally saw two! First one was yesterday at a restaurant in upstate NY. The bartender was wearing one, and another customer started asking him how he liked it. I didn't even notice it until he and the other customer started talking, lol. It was a Sports watch, but he was using a third party classic buckle band he had bought on Amazon. Then today, I was at a restaurant in Manhattan, and a customer sitting at the bar was wearing one, but I didn't get a good look at it, so I don't know which model it was. And yeah, both sightings were at bars in restaurants -- I think I spend too much time at bars!

Costco seems to be a hotspot of Apple watches near me. Every time I'm there I see one. Today the guy serving sausage samples with little toothpicks in them was wearing the space grey sport 42mm. Coincidentally, that's the same model I saw a customer wearing last I was there. Guess it's a popular one.

I can easily see Costco selling Apple watches in the future.

Spotted 2 women wearing SS with ML and 1 guy wearing a SG (or SB?) on BSB last night in our section at Dodger Stadium.
