... I don't know what to say. No I take it back I just don't know how to phrase it. Um ok here it goes. Why would you talk to your phone to translate to text to be sent to someone. Why not just call them? Oh you just want to leave them a message. VOICEMAIL! Plus there is the possibility of it hearing you wrong. What if you text your mom and say, Mom I love you and it thinks you say Mom eye... not even going to go there. I just don't know. It's kind of taking the fun out of texting.

No.

Can I make a suggestion ?

The space bar is important and I think making it smaller is going to cause problems.

Also its the most used key, so I could easily see the Microphone button being accidentally pressed all the time!

What a nightmare ...Can we all agree that it would be better to place the Microphone button next to the Camera button !

Apple ! Please, if your listening....Change it

I'm not sure, i would have to try it, but yes off the top of my head I think next to the camera button would be better. Or maybe change the camera button to have a long-press that would pop up a camera icon and a mic icon (i.e. like the keyboard long-press popups)

This would presumably be a system wide action and the camera button isn't always there. In Safari for instance you get the keyboard and that's it. It needs to be placed in the keyboard somewhere so it's accessible to all apps without needing them to code for it.

Then perhaps IN the white box where the text goes and not on the keyboard at all.

But something needs to changed, I just don't see this at a finished solution

It's about time they finally copied all these features from Android. I wonder if they held off because they didn't want it to look like they copied from anyone else. I say, who cares! If there is something good already out there, copy it!

Wrong. You're obviously not an inventor or innovator and without respect or regard for smart hard work. Freeloader maybe?

ISO iis just getting speech recognition? Androids had this forever.

Got to love all this cloak and dagger stuff. Any other company would drool at having people so fixated on what they are bringing out next.

This hiding kind of sucks and it's all due to developers who leak info from the private beta. I wish Apple could seriously go after every single one that leaks these things. You signed an NDA, for god's sake :(

That little rant aside: yay for voice recognition, if it works well :D

Your right if people like you did not come to places like this there be no need for apple to do the whole cloak and dagger routine. So please will you not help out and promise never again to seek out Apple Rumors. Who know with your help we may get Apple to open up a little more. :D

For todays lesson for those people with very very little imagination we will give them on of many reason and that would be Price. Calling cost way more than just dictating something quick and sending it off as an email or SMS.

For example I use voice memo all the time, and some of my friends do the same, because you never know what they are doing and if they can even take your call.

So, Android users had been using this for years but was it fun? Did they had an enjoyment of discovering the feature hidden by Google and then discussing it on GoogleRumors? They did not.
