As if something like issues with hard shifting in some cold weather or starter not always working right away haven't really been affecting some cars here and there through decades of all kinds of manufacturers and models. And recalls or TSBs would get issued to resolve those types of things. Reality of the auto industry since basically always.
We are talking about analogies not equivalencies (and a car turning off in the middle of it being on wouldn't be the same level of issue of a phone temporarily not responding well to touch). Please give an example of a car with inginiton on, becoming unresponsive while driving due to cold . A brand new car .....
We are not talking about tuning the phone on here.....it's on....
[doublepost=1510295356][/doublepost]I'm going to try my X out his morning, nice and cold in London.
So if your 100000$ car stopped working in cold weather, that would be OK?
Sure the car may have issues, but the steering wheel and brakes shouldn't stop working because of a bug

That said, there have certainly been recalls on cars where ignition would suddenly die.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors_ignition_switch_recallsEven with an anology , equivalency is most relevant.
Cause .... I consider my touch screen to be equivalent to a steering in a car analogy....
Please quote an example of a brand new model released , in its first week failing ignition due to weather.
Look , who cares, i know we will never talk actual facts.... next time my car has a fault , I can use Apple as an example that other industries also have issue![]()

How about an acknowledgement that the speakerphone is horrendous and rattle like there’s no tomorrow above 70%. All iPhone 10 I’ve had in hand exhibit the same issue.
In Australia, do you even have cold weather? For a $1,579 device over here in Aus, no you should not expect bugs!!

Ummm tell that to my MacBook, Camry, Sony Tv, Nest Thermostat...etc. You get the point. For a $1,579 device over here in Aus, no you should not expect bugs!!
It drops into the low 70's there quite often. So cold weather testing should have been worked out.Designed in California. Known for brisk weather.
Apple already addressed it and is working on a fix. Read the title of this discussion.IF YOU HAVE THIS ISSUE, TAKE A MINUTE AND REPORT IT TO APPLE.
They don't know how big a problem is unless they get reports of it. The more the better. Don't rely on someone else to do it for you. The more that report it, the larger of an issue they will see it is and the faster they'll fix it.
Always amazes me when diehard iPhone users have issues and don't bother bringing it up in order to protect Apple's reputation. It always seems to take regular phone users to start the complaints because they couldn't care less how negative it looks for Apple. When Apple finally acknowledge the particular issue, only then, do the loyal followers come out and admit they too have been having issues. The X has been nothing but a mess of issues. Smh.
I live in Finland and here is cold (-30-5°C) about 6 to 7 months in a year.
Please, no coldgate posts.. New hardware, you have to expect bugs..
Like?I'm waiting for Consumer Reports to weigh in and everyone here ridicule them.
Unlike any other iPhones, this one has been a delayed botch after botch.
This site ignores it mostly as this is a fan site.
Yeah, it's not like phones and computers and software had issues when he was around. Everything was just perfect and forums like this one basically didn't have anyone complaining about anything at all.Wouldn't have happened if Jobs was still here. Apple is becoming so slack these days!
No matter how expensive the hardware is, there will always be software bugs...For a $1,579 device over here in Aus, no you should not expect bugs!!
