To those who are curious Apple added 10Gb ethernet to the Mini about a month ago.
10Gbe Ethernet is back on the mini line. They added it as an option (For M1 based machines) a few weeks ago.I hope this means we will see the return of 10G ethernet to the mini line.
I would have already had a Mac Mini if Apple had a decent option on Intel.
And the Mac Pro Lite.yea, the mac mini maxi...
even better — the mac pro mini and the mac mini pro. you can't lose! And the Mac Pro Lite.
Because Apple can make Silicon computers so compact
You know it's going to cost an arm and a leg for 64 GB![]()
You may want to keep your arm for typing and sacrifice a leg insteadOnly an ... ARM.
32 GB is enough for me (for now).
Or you will buy everything.I am content with the M1 I just ordered. If you play the "next model is going to be better" game you will never buy anything from Apple...

You said "more appealing" twice but never actually articulated what you mean.built and marketed in a more appealing way
This is great - hows the fps on the mba? I had the xplane 11 on the mac pro but my 8gb rx580 died so stopped playing it.This is what I'm really waiting for. For X-Plane 11 (and 12 someday).
Right now I run it on my M1 MBA and it runs very well, which was a huge surprise. Just need more ports for multiple displays and controls. And the processing boost will be nice going forward. Hooking (and de hooking) everything up to my MBA is kind of a pain.
Yep, I work for the fruity computer company and our users are typically in a few categories.Even if you need a computer, it's often not a smart decision to buy something that is insufficient for your needs, just because it's the new shiny.
It really an individual decision. While you say is true for you, it's not true for everyone.
