Well, colour me intrigued Apple. *Please don't be a new 16" MacBook Pro as I just bought on on a great deal and didn't think Intel had anything in their roadmap to suggest an update was coming...
Intel have 10th generation H-Series (refresh) and 11th generation Tigerlake H-Series early next year which is 8 core 10nm CPU.

I’m calling it now, it’s the AirPods Studio headphones. There is no way it’s a refresh Intel MacBook Pro.
AirPods Studio are facing production delays, and won’t be out until next spring.
Also, if Apple was going to brag about their audio team, and how good the AirPods studio are, wouldn’t they have done it at the same time that they announced the new HomePod Mini?
I’m 90% sure that it’s a 16 inch MacBook Pro update. The last 16 inch update was in November 2019, and the Apple silicon redesign is not rumored to come out until the fourth quarter of 2021. I highly doubt that apples gonna leave one of their most popular products barely touched, except for a couple new graphics card options, for almost two years.
Plus, in a final cut pro update that came out a couple weeks ago, Apple actually referenced a late 2020 16 inch MacBook Pro, so we know that they have one somewhere.

Could be a well placed hunch, as Samsung just announced their competing product. Time will tell.
When has Apple ever released a product at the same time or close to the launch of a Samsung product just to spite them?
I recall never. Apple releases products at their own cadence. Apple doesn’t give a flying hoot about when Samsung releases their products.

Tim Cook did say there would still be more Intel Macs coming out, so maybe they will quietly release them without a major event but a press release?
That’s like working on a “quiet release” in a stall in a busy office bathroom.

It’s still gonna stink, regardless.

No, I would think that this would merit a press release, at the very least, and the M1 Mini was just recently released. There is no way they would update it again with the 10Gb option this soon.

Most likely: AirPods Studio

Nah the 10Gb Mini can slide out unannounced. Those looking for it will know how to find it and the average consumer wont give a monkeys.

Wow, very assertive. Please note my response: "Could be." "Time will tell." Grab some Eggnog and use the Breath App on your AW.

Hoping for a new Apple TV. Maybe a 16" MBP refresh. Don't think new products like AirTags would have a silent launch (not impossible, but unlikely).

That’s my point though, I personally don’t think we’ll see 16 inch ARM standing alone. I think an Intel version will come out too next year.

Apple will be redesigning their entire laptop lineup, as well as the iMac, to better accommodate Apple silicon processors.
Look at the Mac Mini with M1. Lots of empty, unused space.
On top of that, when the lowest end MacBook Air with Apple silicon is outperforming higher end 16 inch MacBook Pros, it proves that there’s absolutely no need for Apple to continue with Intel.
Once Apple puts their own processors in the entire MacBook Pro lineup and the iMac lineup, that will be it for Intel. The only products that will most likely remain Intel for a long while are the iMac Pro and the Mac pro tower, but even those will eventually move over.
It makes absolutely no sense for Apple to introduce redesigns to their laptop lineup, specifically designed with their own silicon in mind, and then have to shoehorn an Intel processor into that. That’s not going to happen.
The M1, and future variance of apples processors, will allow for thinner, lighter, quieter, cooler computers, and Apple won’t be thinking about Intel once they switch over.

I'd be ecstatic for Apple tiles.
Because they are not just trackers, but, with UWB can track position as you move, aligning this with a Fitness+ release could make sense. :)

Better be an AppleTV with an updated chip that's not from 2017!

I know the second I break down and buy the 4th gen one, it won't be compatible with new Apple Arcade games and the new one will come out right after, haha.
THEN, GO AHEAD AND BUY IT PLEASE! Take one for the team!

They’ve already released an Intel Mac since then, so they wouldn’t have to release any other Intel systems and that statement would still be accurate.

Let's hope not. That would probably push the AS 16" back to Q3/Q4 2021 😞
The redesigned 14 and 16 inch MacBook Pro‘s with Apple silicon, along with a new iMac, all with mini LED displays, are all not rumored to be announced until the third or fourth quarter of 2021.

Lovetodream said it’s something good for Winter + it has AppleCare. Haven’t bought an Apple TV for a while but I assume it has AppleCare. That’s my guess. I don’t need one - another reason it is probably a ATV.

could always be a few items. Airtags, AppleTV and AirPods. - problem with that idea is lovetodream indicated it was one thing.
Something good for Winter? Refreshed Intel MacBook Pro 16" that overheats.

Apple TV plus PS4/5 controller plus PSNow and MS and stadia? Sounds pretty good. Come on Apple make it happen. I don’t care about your overly curated Arcade games.

If Apple didn’t make it clear enough in the event, the “M” Family of processors is specifically for the Mac.
The “A” series of processors is for their iOS, or iOS based products.
So the possibility of the Apple TV getting the full M1 processor is extremely unlikely, because it’s not a Mac.
If, by some miracle, a new Apple TV is introduced next week, it will either have the A12, A12X, or A12Z chip.
More likely, if it’s introduced in the spring along with the new iPad pros, it will have the A14X processor.
