There is no SE 2, and there is no “fingerprint under the screen“. There never was.

No idea why anyone would even still be talking about that. Simply irrelevant.

Well maybe because it's better, faster and more convenient than FaceID?

It would be a way to push OLED sales first, before they offer a "budget" version. I love that a $700 is considered "budget" in Apple's world.

Compared to an SE, $700 is anything but a "budget" option; however the lack of SE updates and two dying 5S iPhones mean we had to settle for two iPhone 8s on the latest VZW BOGO deal. I just couldn't bring myself to buy two SE iPhones that are four years old (in technology terms) vs two iP8s with the most recent technology that come out only slightly more than buying two iPSEs.

Not surprised by another iPhone delay.

I will still hope for an SE 2 that is actually a budget model as $700 is not cheap in my book. Watch and wait.
