Only a tiny, really insignificant fraction of users will have been affected.
As always.
Not noteworthy.
Everything's good!
Apple is "investigating" already.

Note that if you're getting spammed with dialogs from iTunes you can just go to the Account menu and sign out.

The service is broken so you don't have access to cloud music anyway; might as well stop the noise so you can listen to your local music in peace. You can easily sign back in when the service returns. :)

Apple Music isn't working through the Sonos app either apparently. Keep getting, "Unable to play - the connection to Apple Music was lost". Internet connection working fine on all my devices, so definitely not my ISP or an issue with my home network.

Changes are coming online! .... at the expense of service interruption.

In that case, Apple should send a notice of outage if its planned, or, do the updates while keeping the services up - a rolling update.

Updating their servers and knowingly affecting the end user, without notice is shoddy.

Should. Haven't seen anything and now mail is down too. Same with the Mac Store.
The issue, it be growing.

I hate this ****. Is this again the magical "<1% of iCloud users are affected" which magically always includes ME?

Be proud, you are a one percenter!

By the look of it, I am not sure they at Apple can send e-mails to each other right now, let alone the customers.

They appear to be coming back up. There's less yellow squares on the server list now.
