So I guess somebody at Apple downloaded the "safe" version of 9.3.2 today...?

My iCloud drive (and all services associated with iCloud) have been inaccessible since March 29. I've had a case open with Apple for over 2 months, and it still hasn't been resolved. I've supplied over 1GB worth of log files, videos showing the behavior on my iPhone, iPad and MacBook, and much more. I may have lost over 6GB worth of photos, I can't use hand off, can't sign into iMessage on my iPad or MacBook etc.

Nothing has changed in the last 6 weeks. All I'm told is "engineers are working on it". Funny thing is Apple keeps charging me for the updated iCloud drive tier I had, even when I am unable to use anything iCloud.

I asked them to refund me since my problem started 3 months ago and they are supposed to be processing the refund. I was finally contacted by a senior customer relations executive who worked with the engineering team and was told by him last night that it was server side and I wasn't the only one. No ETA on the fix though. I have 200GB of photos and videos I uploaded they assure me they are there and fine but I can't access them.

I guess we're experiencing same issue. After getting the run around for over a month, I got a hold of one of their relations executives as well. It's just unbelievable that it's taking them this long to resolve whatever the issue is. Makes my devices toast if I can't even use handoff, iMessage, FaceTime etc on my iPad/MacBook. I may end up having to just give up, forget about the data I have in iCloud and create a new iCloud account.

Yes it sure sounds like the same issue. If I try to sign in at iCloud.com I can sign in and use calendars, contacts, and one other. iCloud drive, photos, reminders, notes all give me errors, the iWork apps try to launch then log me out. my 2 devices that are still connected I can at least access my notes and reminders there, but I am unable to sign in my new mac My mac mini that is still connected to my iCloud crashes when I open iCloud preferences as well as my iPhone and iPad. after 2 months I sent an email to Tim Cook. That is when I got the call from Relations guy stating he was asked to reach to me regarding that email. I am sure he didn't read it but at lease whoever reads those outside emails thought it was important enough to pass on. One of their fixes was to create a separate iCloud account but I told them I wasn't doing that. the 2 iOS devices I have still work with iMessage and FaceTime, and I can sign into iMessage on my macs that are not connected to iCloud.

According to Apple's system status page, multiple store services are currently experiencing an outage. The App Store, Apple TV App Store, Mac App Store, iTunes in the Cloud, and the Volume Purchase Program are unavailable for some users.

The outage started just after 12:30 p.m., and we have also heard reports of problems with Apple Music and Apple News, though those are not service outages currently listed on the system status page.

Smells like North Korean or Chinese Hackers. I'd bet it's Chinese as China not so happy with Apple these days. Mr. Cook maybe should cut down on his repeated 'junkets' to China. Familiarity Breeds Contempt as the old saying goes.

I surely hope Tim has an 'expert' Asian-American who can speak 'truths' to the Apple CEO and give advice on how to deal with a culture much different than those in the West.
[doublepost=1464911294][/doublepost]Chinese Hackers. Look there first.

I've had no App Store or iTunes Store since updating to the latest El Capitan beta. The 'wheel of lines' just keeps spinning. In iTunes I can update apps but not view or buy any new ones. In the App Store I can't access anything at all. In safe mode I can access them. I'm weary of sifting through application clashes that might be causing it. Just saying ...

Yup. Exact issue - iCloud crashes. I found out the hard way - I gave out my previous phone to family. Didn't know I had any issue until I got my new iPhone and tried to restore from iCloud. Like you, I ended up emailing Tim Cook before the executive relations guy reached out.

It's this kind of thing which makes me not willing to renew my iTunes Match by the time it expires next week. I'd rather just keep my files on my Mac and/or iPhone and hard transfer between each. Too many issues with cloud based services. All my music is on my Mac already and my Mac is backed up to an external drive so I'm fine.

so. im in my apple car.
and...
he he, good point. We are all used to bugs in software. Moreover, nobody can write software which is both bug free and complicated. But this is not acceptable when it comes to self-driving cars. Their software must be MUCH more reliable than companies like Google and Apple (or anybody else for that matter) are used to writing. I have some doubts they are capable of overcoming that.

I don't see the big deal, it was anything mission critical.
Statistically, even if they're uptime for a given year is 99.9% that's still just under 9 hours of downtime annually.

I tired of dealing with iCloud's failure to complete a back up. I expressed my frustration to an Apple rep by canceling my service. I don't care if it was inexpensive.

So many in recent moths makes me think someone is behind this.

They must be working overtime these days....

I don't expect online services to be perfect, but this happens several times per year. When was the last time you've heard about Google having s system outage?

If you spend time on a google fan site , you would hear about it more often. Still not good enough from apple though, they just struggle with anything services related.
