Apple's Back to School Promo Starting Next Week

Also the deals should be identical to the Japanese one, not applicable to MBA 11', Mac Mini, iPhone and iPads. Regular student discount on top of a 8GB iPod touch rebate.

Launch time should be worldwide, in US time.
 
Doesn't look like it's going to happen today :-( Currently without mac and don't know how long to wait.

I hope there's only a few hours to go. I can't wait to get my first MBP ever!! :) I've been waiting for this moment for such a long time!! I've been wanting to upgrade to Apple for years now, but I've had to make do with my crappy old HP. It has been working wonky and giving me problems these past 3-4 years :mad:

I hear ya! My current iMac and iPod are both 8 years old! I've been waiting for this day for months. Here I am a 47 year old man and I feel like a kid on Christmas day. Come on, Apple, let's get this going!

I'm with you too. This will be my first and I do kinda feel like a kid trying to fall asleep on chrismas eve. Hurry up already!

Happy Birthday! Hopefully Apple comes thru for you.......and everybody else in this thread lol. Its my day off, would love to go today to pick up a MBP.
 
I have just checked the Japanese site and it seems as though the BTS offer has been taken down.
I wonder if this is good news. Fingers crossed...

First off Happy Birthday and I agree with you. They would be crazy not to have BTS promo this year. If anything they should sweeten the pot because of Microsoft.
 
I'm dying of anticipation! Lol... I want my new MBP asap, but saving $200 from the iPod would be foolish to skip over. I'll wait. In extreme anticipation. :rolleyes:


-Yeah it will be fairly obvious on the Education Store page. And I'm sure there will be an update on this website telling us it's live.. ;)
