I just got off the phone with Apple (second time). They told me it wasn't the agreement (which he told me I would have up to a week to sign), all he could see was that it was an internal error - probably due to my duplicate order with AT&T. He said since it was canceled, it couldn't be reinstated. But he was able to get me a reservation at my local Apple store for the 24th. So it's something. I just have to make sure my eligibility is back before Thursday.

You know, I think I may know what the problem was.

The two phones that I got cancelled were the first ones I ordered when their computers were totally screwed up... I went through all the steps and when I clicked on "Ship to me" or whatever then it would goto the OOPS!!! page. After that a few times I clicked on the Cart and it was in there already so I ordered it... maybe it was something by not making it all the way through the OOPS! stuff that mixed their computers up?

Did you guys get the OOPS! stuff and then click the Cart to checkout?

After reading this thread went to check my order status and sure it is cancelled. WTF? No cancellation email, just order stays changedbwithout any explanation :(

was it ever prepared for shipment? what emails did you get? and did you change your shipping address? There has to be some similarity.

Did any of you guys get your CSS email?

My home delivery order from Apple now says prepared to ship. I also just received an email from ATT giving me the address to their CSS. No indication that I had to agree to it in the email.

How did you order them, in one cart? I have a family plan, but I used two user Apple ID's and two different credit cards to place the orders. Mine is showing ready to ship and my wife's is still not shipped, but still has the 24th as a delivery date. I will hope for the best.

I just got off of the phone with ATT.

She says they are limiting the iPhone preorders to 1 per account. Even multiple line upgrades. So if you have two lines on the sames ATT account you want upgraded, you will only get one.

She said we can't get two until they are released. I called BS on this, but she wouldn't budge.

She blamed Apple for not advertising the limitation.

If you have multiple orders on a Family plan account, please keep me updated!

I ordered 4, still have two prepared for shipment.

I have 2 phones ordered (separate orders, one apple account) on a family plan. As of right now, both say "Prepared for shipment". Man, I hope they stay that way!! My impression from them was one phone per eligible line on family plan unless you were adding a line...

To be fair to Apple and ATT, this one phone per account policy was stated a week ago.

Wow, my wife will not be happy. On the 15th, the Apple Store Rep (Online Chat) told me I could only order 1 under my Apple ID. I asked it I used my wife's Apple ID and a different credit card could she get one. The response was vague, but something to the effect of, "if that is what you would like to do". I will let you know if I see her order get cancelled. That just does make since and things are not adding up...

Right, that was my impression as well. Now they are telling me different. I'm not sure what else to do here.

Not really, it said 1 phone per new customer and 1 phone PER LINE for existing... please show me to where it says 1 per acct.

Stated by whom, and where? One per person sure, but one for the whole account? That's crazy. I have two eligible lines for two different people.

Have family plan. AT&T rep told me only one until 24th even though we have 3 eligible. I missed out on order for 24th but have reservation.

Well crap. I got the OOPS! message on my order, and I only ordered one! You are scaring me!

My bad, not one per account. It's one per household. Which is kinda the same thing.

"Well folks, today is the day you can shove in your pre-order for the latest mobile baby out of the Apple tree, the iPhone 4 and you‘ll get your shiny new iPhone 4 as of the 24th of this month, but don’t expect to be pre-ordering more than one.According to an article over on Intomobile by Marin Perez, according to the AT&T pre-order guidelines, buyers are limited to just one iPhone 4 per person and this applies to new and upgrading customers and that the Big Blue will allow just one iPhone 4 per household."

The two I ordered are both under my Apple ID and my one credit card, but two completely separate AT&T accounts under separate names. One per AT&T account and especially one per line makes sense, but one per Apple ID really makes no sense at all.

I dont know if that was it, probably wasnt... but it seems weird that out of 4 orders the 2 that I did that with got cancelled today. Who knows though, Apple and AT&T sure has no ideas.

Ok, well at least that's consistent with what I was told. It's completely inconsistent with the one per eligible line rule though, and it's completely ridiculous, it should have been declared, since I spent most (seriously, from 1am to 6pm) of the day trying to get one for me and my wife.

Not really a happy customer right now.

Right, that quote contradicts what you said. One per person would be one per eligible line. The lines are tied to different people.

I don't think they are saying one per Apple ID, it's one per ATT account, even if you have multiple eligible lines on a family plan.

Livid!!

I just checked my order. It has been cancelled with no explanation. I checked the terms box, only ordered one. NO idea what is going on but I basically spent the entire day getting that order in the first place. If this doesn't get resolved it will be a serious test of my apple love. I'll consider quitting both apple and AT&T over this. There is a reason we pay a premium and it isn't to get jerked around like this. On hold for 15 minutes so far and haven't spoken to a person yet.

i have 3 Orders and there all waiting to be shipped and have not been anywhere near cancelation. I ordered 2 through apple on the same ID and there waiting for shipment then i ordered the 3rd through AT&T i have 5 lines on my family plan and 3 were eligible for upgrade and everything seems fine. No rep has told me otherwise.

It's one per home address. Doesn't contradict me at all. AT&T was clear about this.

Man, I am freaking out! lol mine is still prepared for shipment, but I am worried.
