That great and all, though as you don't have access to data about the community at large reaction to the MacBook Pro or sales figures
Around it , you comment is also far removed from reality? Please suppprt your claims? It's biased opinion at best.
Let me guess you talked to a few mates....fellow fans?
About one billion people use Mobile Me, or iCloud as it is now known.Does anyone else Ping or Mobile Me? This is not Apple's finest hour.
It's quite obvious from the sales figures surrounding certain hated aspects of Apple on MR that they are actually quite enjoyed and bought by Apple users as a whole.
No one really cares about the camera bump.
People like and use emoji.
Apple Music is a success.
Apple Watch is a success.
People aren't too bothered about the headphone jack.
People like Tim Cook.
People like thin phones, tablets and computers.
People like the Touchbar.
People who own the battery case actually like it.
Macrumors is an echo chamber, bouncing around mostly irrelevant thoughts on Apple. /r/Apple is a lot closer to what the majority think.

Make sure that you have the time and ability to watch it! Missing only counts if it's not accidental.

Honestly, companies that are not trying to become multi-media companies are having a rougher time of it than those that are. I'm not an economist so I can't explain it.
Here's hoping that a new emoji for this is announced soon!
hate to tell you, MR is apple fans, and thier thoughts echo around the long established Apple fan base.
The vast majority of population could care less about any of those points above as they don't care and view apple products as expensive products for middle class and up... the average user sees Apple as pretentious and too expansive ....they laugh as the lines outside Apple stores when an iPhone launches.....yeah, the average user has a very different view of apple and thier fans.....
While many knew about Steve jobs, I doubt many know who is running apple these days....just as they don't know or care who runs Microsoft...
Don't worry bud, we geeks are delusional about how much the average user cares about what we like.....

Lol.... mobile me was never iCloud ....... nice try.
One Billion people using mobile me..... lol...it was a failure , that eventually became a useful offering in iCloud .
"MR is apple fans, and thier thoughts echo around the long established Apple fan base."
Exactly my point. The majority of Apple users these days are not the long established fan base. Like it or not, were the minority.
Hate to tell you guys but we're the ones who are out of touch.
You may not like R'n'B radio or rap Apple Music exclusives or collaborations between Apple and specific brands or artists but there is no denying it generates a lot of cash and interest.
Hell, even the Touchbar MacBook that is despised on here has been received well among the community.
It's very easy to demonstrate. Guage the hate on here and compare it to the sales and revenue Apple generate. It is a small overlap on a Venn diagram.
The Macrumours usership is far, far removed from the Apple demographic. Like I said, out of touch.
Distraction and guff
Is not good enough
To cover the bluff
That there's no new stuff
Q. How long can these diversion tactics last until Joe Public realise that things at Apple R&D may not be as rosy as once thought?
A. As long as it works of course! Get in!
You made me so crazy laughing that I accidentally stuck my pencil into the downside of my iPad.It's quite obvious from the sales figures surrounding certain hated aspects of Apple on MR that they are actually quite enjoyed and bought by Apple users as a whole.

Wow, where do you get your numbers from?? MobileMe =! iCloud, as MobileMe was shut down back in 2012About one billion people use Mobile Me, or iCloud as it is now known.
Not surprised to see the hate here; a lot of people on this site are negative 24/7.
I'm not someone that was looking for to this initially but I couldn't help but enjoy the ad. Everyone is just goofing off and having a good time. I love music and like seeing other people enjoy themselves, so I'll most likely end up checking this out when it drops.
Speaking for some Apple Board members, it might become rather frustrating to instruct your drivers' driver every week to have your second Bentley cleaned up for the third time finding out that your suitcase with papers is in your first Bentley that resides in your Golf Resort to pick up your celeb friends' friends for their pre-flight cocktail in...[some variations may apply]I don't get the premise of this. Why would celebs and wealthy people be "car pooling". This isn't even in the realm of a worked angle where it could be believable. So it's basically people lip-syncing in a car instead of onstage...and you're telling me people watch this
Does anyone else Ping or Mobile Me? This is not Apple's finest hour.
This is the Microsoft version of Apple, back when Microsoft was arrogant and stupid in the late 90's. They aren't focused on what they do best, they are panicking and trying to do too many stupid things to stay relevant.
Doubtful. They currently have no problem having him front and center despite his past convictions for assaulting women (not to mention his misogynistic lyrics).
This is so stupid. Why would they take a segment from a late night talk show and produce it into anything? What's next, and whole show dedicated to Letterman's top 10?
I'll cancel Netflix if Apple buys them.Of course, Apple bought a property that was already popular. This is the first step. They are ironing out the production process, and I'd bet they will have something substantial rolling in the next two years. Or they could just buy Netflix! Netflix started mailing DVDs to homes. How many years have they been streaming? Amazon has humongous servers and expertise about distributing and streaming digital-- but Amazon movies wasn't an overnight event. What I envision, at a bare minimum, is replacing cable boxes and tuners. Pay for cable. Then have your choice of programming with YouTube video, Amazon Channels, Direct TV NOW, etc. Apple will need to have programming for the Apple TV. Then you can have a choice of programming. Note to Apple: put an antenna jack on the Apple TV. As soon as the newest ATSC 3.0 is ready, download the update. A TV with that content will end the "cable channels". Then let the cables compete with Apple, Amazon, Google Chromecast, etc. Or die as anything but an Internet provider.
