Owwwww my Mini's just about to be outdated... Luckily I have a 5S...

So what we think is:

New cameras
New design for normal iPad
Non-retina faster iPad mini (maybe retina if we are lucky!)
Fingerprint scanners?
A7 (at least for the normal iPad)
Same battery life

Does anyone think that Apple will keep the current mini as a cheaper, Nexus 7 opposer and release a more expensive mini as well? This would be a great move if they want to compete more with the other upcoming Android devices.

I think there will be fingerprint scanners. I don't think they are a luxury, but a fix for the security gap among consumers. (Referring to the large number of people who don't use a passcode.)

:) I really really really want a new mini (only if it has retina) - I love the form factor but hate the current screen.

Don't think I shall be letting my credit card out to play from day one tho - might hang back and see how it all goes :)

I just hope the stock numbers aren't as bad as the 5S. If they are, we won't be getting iPads until December (unless we wait in line of course.)

Yay!

Fantastic news, been waiting for this news for ages now, i had almost given up.

iPad mini retina here i come.:D

How about fix the iPad iOS 7 software

It's garbage

Steve never would of released it

Many things were released with issues during Steve's rain, ever heard of the iPhone 4 "antenna-gate," which Steve vehemently shot down, only to later do a completely 180 on?

Stop acting like Steve was perfect, that comment is so old and so asinine

iPad Mini Retina Resolution:
iPad Retina Screen resolution:

I forget the second, no clue about the first. Do you think they'd just shove the doubling onto the Mini?

It was either the 15th or the 22nd. Since no invites came out today, obviously the event will be on the 22nd...

I Bet:
  1. No Update for iPad Mini, if any update will include Retina Display.
  2. New std Size iPad with Touch ID, A7X, 8Mpx camera, Same iPhone 5S Colors.
  3. New MacBook Pros's With Haswell IGZO screens and revised Unibody.
  4. MacPro Official Release
  5. 32" Thunderbolt Display with 4HD (or 5HD) not 27".

Apple doesn't care about the computer anymore. Look at how long they let the Mac Pro languish without any significant updates. That's why they removed "Computer" from the company name and are now Apple, Inc.

I hope this is not true. Add me to the list of those "Waiting for the new MBP".
