I wonder if there might be another event coming. Apart from new iPads, mac pro and mavericks there's a bunch of things left to get an upgrade.

Mac mini and macbook Pro of course. But also we know from wwdc that a new version of iWork is coming this year and Siegler has pretty much gone on record saying there's new apple tv hardware on the way (this month according to his tweet). Further one could believe that a new thunderbolt display with 4k+ resolution could be released alongside the new mac pro to take advantage of its thunderbolt2 support. And then we have any possible surprises.

Will there be new Retina MacBook Pros!? I've been waiting since June! Haswell chips would be ANAZING.

For those of you selling ipad mini or ipad 2-3 any idea what prices they might be going for on craigslist or ebay? I am guessing there will be an influx hitting the market driving down prices quite a bit.

iPad 3 roughly $299

Mark my words... iPad mini will not have everything that iPad has. Maybe some but not all. Retina? 64 bit A7 processor? 8MP camera? I'd say only chip but definitely not Retina or 8MP camera. Retina is one of the flagship features for the top of the range iPads. It's what differentiates between the adults and the kids ;)

If WSJ says it has retina you can pretty much bank that it does. But your general view I believe is correct. Apple will most likely keep something exclusive to the original iPad to justify the higher price and keep good margins on the iPad mini.

So that's why every iPhone they sell is retina? And that makes the 5C for adults and not kids. :D

Apple doesn't care about the computer anymore. Look at how long they let the Mac Pro languish without any significant updates. That's why they removed "Computer" from the company name and are now Apple, Inc.

Yep they definitely don't care about computers, even if they do spend billions a year on manufacturing them

Come on Apple... we're all waiting for the MacBook Pro refresh.
No gives a $#!+ about the iPad toy.

Aaaargh this has been the most frustrating wait this year.
After teasing us with the MacBook Air update and leaving us in limbo for months ....yeah lots of fun for the customer.

..O.K feel better now :)

Hopefully they will have the iPad mini with Retina Display available. I'm looking forward to an A7 chip and a Retina Display. If not, I'll wait until next year.

My 3rd gen iPad is still running strong! Was thinking of selling it to help fund a new full sized 5th gen. But instead, I might keep it for the kids and get myself a new retina mini. Yup, that settles it.

Wasn't there a rumor of Apple having a separate event for rMBPs. I am pretty sure that there will be a significant change to retina MBP line with Haswell chips. Price drop? more efficient. regular MBPs discontinued.
Possibilities..

I hope the mini retina gets the a7 (not a7x) and maybe just 1 gig of ram compared to two. Couldn't care too much about the camera, but want touch id.

If it gets that I'll buy one. Otherwise I'll buy the 5. Either way apple won't get more from me, I'll be spending the same, just getting more memory on the mini if I can.

Is this more of the same with a upgraded screen and finger print thingy in different colors.

yaawwwnnnnn... oh my so sorry, I fell asleep typing that.

Mini will definitely be retina. Mark. These. Words.

Not to be that guy, but no updated Macbook Pro's? Surprising they won't be included.

If they don't talk about it, then a silent update will be coming. Unless the aesthetics change, there's really nothing to talk about anyway. Spec bumps aren't worthy mentions at Apple events.

There is no way the Mac Pros are coming this soon. They meant the Macbook Pros.

Soon? They were previewed at WWDC. It's been awhile since that event... a long while.

I really think they will keep touch ID for their full sized ipad. I cant see them giving their ipad mini 32 gb. HD space is where they make their margins they wont be shifting their mini or phones for a while. I can maybe see them stocking 32gb into their full size to entice away from the mini but that's a very slim maybe.

What are you smoking? 32GB and 64GB are already available for the iPad minis. Why would they take that away?

Don't get me wrong, the more the better but I can't see these 2 devices being identical and just the size to differentiate. If that's the case, then I'll definitely grab a mini
