Apple's iPhone 5 Pre-order Shipping Estimates Slip to Two Weeks

Wow, and I thought I had it bad by not being able to order til 6:30 am and my infant daughter keeping me up all night long. But you WIN
didnt force me to abandon... just changed from Unlimited Data for iPhone to Unlimited Data for iPhone LTE.... same 30 dollar price
I just canceled one of my orders via Apple (I called Apple Customer Service to cancel instead of the website). My wife decided she wanted a white/silver model after I ordered her black one. I was hoping Apple could simply swap the model on the same order, but they required me to cancel and re-order. I got a confirmation from Apple of the order cancellation and about 15 minutes later, both Apple and AT&T were showing the upgrade pricing again for her number and I was able to place a 2nd order for the white iPhone with the correct pricing.
YMMV, but I didn't have a problem canceling the order and Apple restoring the upgrade eligibility with AT&T within short order.

You know what really hurts. Is the fact I work in I.T., I've had all the iPhones and this is the one I've been waiting and guess what. Can't get it because of money issues. The worst part was coming into work today and everyone asking if I got to preorder it while they got to. I am even due for the $199 upgrade since I didn't do the 4S. It's going to be a tough couple of weeks

mine did as well......I cancelled.....then went to ATT, and it states 14-21 shipping days now.....I just fkd myself....

What are you talking about unlimited LTE Plan? Don't you mean 3gb plan? Cause when i ordered there was no unlimited data plan option for my iphone, i have AT&T.
That's a load of sheet because mine just went from "processing" to "Delivers Oct 2 via Standard Shipping"

Just passing on what I heard
I ordered via the App at completed the order at 3:08am EST. Order is still processing and I checked my bank account and the payment is processing there as well. I just checked my account on Apple.com and fortunately, it still says a shipment date of 9/21. I just hope it stays like that and doesn't get bumped down. With me doing it so early, I was probably one of the first to get my order completed so hopefully it stays that way.

I am grandfathered under the original iphone unlimited data plan. Havent changed it since the first one.

U can go through the threads and see people who ordered at 1:06 am still got the 21st delivery date.

When I placed my order at 12:56AM PDT for my iPhone, Apple's website was still indicating a delivery date of Sept 21st. When I received my confirmation email it indicated the shipping date had slipped 2 weeks. I immediately went back to Apple's website to see what it was saying and the shipping dates were still saying Sept 21st. When I check my order status from the confirmation email it is still saying shipping in 2 weeks. I'm so mad! So from my experience, Apple sold through their initial stock in less than an hour. Fingers are crossed that I get it next Friday!
