I think it's a nice product but the price killed it. It's a pity, I was waiting for the next generation of the Air but it seems that it may not arrive unfortunately :(

Honestly i can appreciate why more people didn’t buy it. It feels great in the hand and i love mine. But lots of people prioritize practicality over everything else. The 17 has a smaller screen but more cameras and more battery. The 17 Pro Max has sllnthat and more and a bigger screen. You habe this middle ground device that isn’t cheapest but really is what the 17e will be but with a bigger screen and less battery.

For me, my phone is always not that far from a charger and I never use all of my battery in a day. So it works great for me and I love the look of the device. But most people will pick function over form when they can. Beyond that I do miss the quality of the 16 plus’ speaker phone.

I travel with rokus and portable router because hotel tvs are so limited. Have to disconnect things, unplug the power but eventually the tv sees the roku.
I used to do the same (with an Amazon Firestick) but many of the tv’s are made for hotels now and lock their settings and disable the HDMI ports. It became too much of a hassle to try and often fail to setup so now if the tv doesn’t have native streaming (which while still not super common is a nice feature) I just use my iPad Pro which I travel with and has a cell plan.

The iPhone Air has been in the stores for barely a month and it is already being deemed a "failure"? Give me a break! I did play with the Air in the Apple Store and I actually liked it. I may consider buying one eventually, despite what I read here.
Most of the sales would come at the start so starting out like this makes it easy to predict its overall sales numbers.

Air apologists in 3, 2, 1...
I never needed the extra cameras. I’m not a Pro photographer.

Who needs extra battery ? Air lasts better than my iPhone 6s Plus!

Next year, when Air stops production, I’ll feel even more unique and special !

At the moment in the development process when they realized they needed an external battery to reassure people they would have enough power was the moment they frightened people that they would not have enough power.

Should have kicked the project downfield at that point. They need better energy density before this phone is going to be successful.

Very few are clamoring for this. Honestly, I think more people would prefer an Air sized version of the standard Pro. The general public doesn't want small phones. And sales have proven that. Multiple times.

I would certainly purchase an Air Pro. Provided it had multiple cameras. Might be tough to pull off, though.

This is just terrible news. I love my Air. Just some small things exist that if improved will make it even better. Over-reaction on Apple's part as the idea is a sound one. I went from 16PM to Air and I have no regrets.

This is the only aspect that if improved would quell all dissent.
