Yeah, I saw a friend of mine making fun of it on Twitter, but he's also a broke PC guy that hates everything Apple (including the iPhone), so I don't value his opinion at all. He lacks imagination.

He actually looks at every frame and edits it separately! 😛
He then goes on to the Microsoft keynote and puts a face of a monkey over Steve Ballmer's (but let's be honest, the difference is not so pronounced anyway)!

Spoiler-free first time as well! This is getting really hard! Had to force my parents into not watching news tonight! Or at least hurry down and hide in my room while they watched it... Mom understood the seriousness 😎 . Dad couldn't care less 😡. Thus, I can't even trust one of my trusted ones. Will stay in hibernation in my room till it comes out.

Such a dilemma.

I have to leave for work tomorrow at 07:00 (it's currently 23:20). I'm also due to go out boozing tomorrow evening (i.e. another late night).

My brain tells me to go to bed but Steve's RDF has me glued to my MBP!

There's no reason for apple to post a link right away. It wouldn't get more people to buy anything new.
What get's people to buy it, are the product news on apple.com which usually are updated DURING the keynote.

one reason would be there's a whole heck of a lot of people that would like to see it. and i don't just mean us, but many of the people who have heard things all day, but would like to watch the whole deal. i was always one of those types until today.
also, why not? it's virtually effortless and while i can recognize the idea that steve is a control freak, i somehow find it easy to minimize his interest in the video of the event after the event.
 
I just ordered a pizza. I'm waiting this thing out. This is my first spoiler-free experience and I'm determined.

Anyone remember when 4chan broke into that MacRumors live update feed? That was hilarious. I'll miss the potential of things like that happening.
 
Well done for hanging in there guys. Should almost be ready about now. I'm ready to relive the experience all over again... properly.

Hope you're right but Apple could take nine hours for this... wouldn't be the first time, we know from experience.

Let's say the keynote was 2 hrs... so we're 3.5 hrs past its end now...
 
Almost 6:30 here on the East Coast. Really can't wait much longer Anyone have an estimate of when we can expect to see it on the site by chance?

Personally I'm waiting for upgrade of MBP line I'm using PowerBook G4 and it's about the time for update for my machine. Buyer's Guide says that it's about the time for update. But don't klick now there I'm sure it's loaded with worst spoilers 🙂

I don't wait for a "device", however new software (OSX, iphone OS, iLife ) will be anticipated.

In UK it's 11.30 PM, yaaaawn
