Almost 6:30 here on the East Coast. Really can't wait much longer Anyone have an estimate of when we can expect to see it on the site by chance?

you've got between 2 and 3,5 hours to go, averaging WWDC and Ipod event 2009. Sorry:(

I appreciate the positive feedback! :)

Why not? I could post the source code if there's enough demand for it. I just don't want everyone to laugh at my sloppy coding :p

Ah well, I apologize for getting your hopes up. :)

Yeah, I'm getting old and lazy. :) Clicking that reload button continuously for hours was just too much. I made the script so everyone can relax and enjoy the stay here inside the confines of the spoiler-free world :)

Are you joining us this year and going spoiler free as well... Thanks to the script I mean?

Anyone know the difference between "Macrumors member" and "Macrumors regular"?
And while I'm at it: What do the numbers behind some members ranks mean?

Tim: There he is!
King Arthur: Where?
Tim: There!
King Arthur: What? Behind the rabbit?
Tim: It *is* the rabbit!
King Arthur: You silly sod!
Tim: What?
King Arthur: You got us all worked up!
Tim: Well, that's no ordinary rabbit.
King Arthur: Ohh.
Tim: That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on!
Sir Robin: You tit! I soiled my armor I was so scared!
Tim: Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!
Sir Galahad: Get stuffed!
Tim: He'll do you up a treat, mate.
Sir Galahad: Oh, yeah?
Sir Robin: You manky Scots git!
Tim: I'm warning you!
Sir Robin: What's he do? Nibble your bum?
Tim: He's got huge, sharp... er... He can leap about. Look at the bones!
King Arthur: Go on, Bors. Chop his head off!
Sir Bors: Right! Silly little bleeder. One rabbit stew comin' right up!

As a shameless plug, and since there are some Muse fans in here, I released an album yesterday. It's available on iTunes. :apple:

No spoilers if you go straight to the iTunes page for the album:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/brain-heart-i-need-to-know/id350629623?i=350629630&uo=6

It's currently just outside of the iTunes rock chart top 100 (it's at 106, I believe). The band is called Analog Rebellion, and the album's runtime should get you all the way until the keynote is posted :)

HAHAHAH that scene changed my life the first time I saw it! Half way through Shawshank taking a pee break ... so many ignored calls, I feel like part of me has been surgically removed not having my iPhone within 2 feet of me!

Someone should pull a David Blaine and see how many days can stay in the "dark"...

So while we're waiting for the keynote and whatever they announce in it: What products/services/innovations are you looking forward to in the future? Are you waiting for some kind of new hardware, or just a refresh of iMac/MacBook etc.? Or something entirely different?

Personally I can't wait to get the first glimpse or at least information about Mac OS X 10.7.
I recently bought a new iMac and am extremely happy with it. So right now I really just care about new software.
Oh and I'm waiting for a new universal dock that comes with the new aluminum remote! :)

Well, let me draw myself The Big Picture…

Macintosh made computers available and easy to use for everyone.
If rumors prove right, then this Thing was planed way ahead of the iPhone, and should actually make computers mobile. Not only available to everyone, but truly ubiquitous.
What else can be done so HUGE by any company in the future?

I think, main things are:
make digital communication much more natural. There needs to be less constrains from software and hardware sides. Communication with these devices should become ubiquitous as well. Many things need to be done, we need advanced cloud computing, wireless and fast internet everywhere, also people need time to adapt and create new culture.

Next, we need semantic structure of all the information. Not only wolfram alpha or wikipedia, something way bigger. Open standards and reason for that. Maybe we need to change our thinking about the web: currently we have three layers (HTML, CSS and JS), I think we need forth, DATA. Somehow HTML is not for data itself, it's for descriptions of the data. For explanations.

With these things accomplished, we can move on to following dreams.
But that's my very (very) broad vision of things to come.

except you can't fly while invisible, because it doesn't multitask ! :D

Brilliant one!
